My Sheep HEAR My Voice!

John 10:27-30

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”

How many of you read this scripture and say to yourself, I hear the voice of Jesus because He speaks to me through the scriptures? Or I've heard the voice of Jesus because He speaks to my heart and I feel a leading of the Spirit?

Before I was truly converted to Christ I used to think that I heard the voice of Jesus through the Scriptures, but after I was baptized with the Holy Spirit I literally HEARD the voice of Jesus speaking to me for the first time in my life. To say it was life changing is an understatement, it was earth shattering!

Jesus meant exactly what He said when He spoke the words, "My sheep hear my voice", and He wasn't talking about the scriptures when He said those words to His listeners over two thousand years ago. Understand that the first recorded gospel of the New Testament, (Mark) was not written until at least FIFTY years AFTER the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Before one word was written down it was SPOKEN and experienced first!

It should be absolutely common place and normal for the Lord's sheep to hear His voice speaking to them through His Spirit and in their minds as often as He wills, but instead when those who say they literally HEAR the audible voice of God speaking to them, they are looked at as loons, and insane!

But don't we read in scripture of the apostles and disciples of Jesus seeing and HEARING the risen Lord speak to them? Of course we do! So what's the difference between now and then?

I have heard many say that 'we have the bible now, so God doesn't speak audibly to His people anymore'. But doesn't Hebrews 13:8 say this: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Jesus said: "MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE"

The question is, have you heard the audible voice of Jesus? If not, what does that tell you?

Are You Ready For God's Answer?

Matthew 19:16-22

Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions."

How many times have you prayed to God and asked Him for answers to your problems? How many times have you cried out to God in despair and desperation, asking Him to heal you, help you, deliver and bless you?

And how often was God's answer to your prayers and questions much different than you thought they would be?

More often than not, when God gives you answers to your problems and prayers, it's NOT the way you thought God would answer! (His ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts)

And more often than not, His answers cut right through your soul and pierce your heart, we all know the cliche, 'the truth hurts!', indeed it does, and the rich young ruler felt the scalpel cut of the Great Physician Jesus!

The young ruler was bold enough to tell Jesus that he had obeyed all the commandments since his youth and was quick to ask Jesus what he still lacked, and Jesus knows ALL of our hearts! He knew what would challenge the heart of the young ruler, that's why Jesus said to him, 'sell ALL you have and GIVE to the poor, and you will have treasure in Heaven; AND come, follow me'.

Jesus answered the young man's question, but it wasn't what he wanted to hear, was it? NOPE!

And that's how it is with most of us in these days of excess, and live your best life now. To be perfect in Christ, to be a true disciple of Jesus, and to follow Him, takes DEATH TO SELF, death to your fleshly desires and carnal thinking. We must be willing to give up ALL to follow Jesus, we must be ready to leave everything behind and not look back if He calls us to do so. And we must be ready to suffer loss, affliction, persecution, and even physical death if that's the will of God.

Are you ready for God's answer to your questions? Are you really ready for the truth that will set you free?

Uma Voz Clamando No Deserto (Joao, O Batista)

This message can also be found in or blog named as : A Voice Crying In The Desert (John, the Baptist) on 10/13/2013 escrita por: Tyrone D. Palmer Traducao: Cynthia R. Palmer

Joao 1:19-27

Dream: War & Aliens

I had a very vivid dream this morning of war in America and aliens descending from the skies. In the dream I was walking down a dark street during the night time, I was with another man, but I don't know who this person was, and it seemed he didn't have a clue about what was coming. As I walked down the street with the man, I started to hear bombs dropping behind me so I turned around and looked, that's when I saw the flashes of light that bombs make when they go off and hit the ground. I yelled out WAR! And I saw two soldiers standing on my right side and I said, "It's starting! War is starting", then the two soldiers ran off in the direction of the war.

Then right after that I turned around and continued to walk up the street when I looked up into the sky, then I saw an alien craft coming out of the clouds, and I yelled out, "do not fear them!". The craft tried to run me over but I stretched out my hands in front of me and by the power of God it stopped right before it ran me down! Then I was attacked by a very strong man-like alien being, and I was wrestling with it for a few seconds when another one even stronger came up behind it and knocked it away from me with the swipe of one hand, then I grappled with this being for a short time and right after that I woke up!

I have already posted a few dreams I had of war coming to America and I've also read a few prophecies and dreams from some other people about war and a coming alien invasion. Is the Lord continuing to warn His people through visions, dreams, and prophecies about what's coming? I believe so! The Lord ALWAYS warns His people before His judgments fall. I said it before and I will  say it again, prepare yourself, get in the Ark while there's still time, the flood is coming! And so is Jesus!!!

For The King!

John 18:33-37

Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?” Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?” Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?” Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Are you on the battle field of faith fighting for the King? Do you know that everyday there is a spiritual battle being waged in the spirit realm?

If you thought that being a disciple of Jesus was easy and there would be no opposition, just remember the words that Paul told Timothy.

2nd Timothy 3:10-13

"But you have carefully followed my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions, which happened to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra—what persecutions I endured. And out of them all the Lord delivered me. Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

Paul also told Timothy to wage a good warfare, fight the good fight of faith, and endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Paul understood the daily battle that all true believers fight as they press on for the prize of the high calling.

1st Timothy 1:18

"This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare,"

2nd Timothy 2:1-4

"You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier."

The saints were exhorted by Paul to put on the whole armor, to put on Christ and to understand that the battle we face is not against flesh and blood, we fight against evil spirits and darkness INSIDE the flesh of wicked men and women who oppose the cross of Christ!

Ephesians 6:10-18

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—"

Are you ready to stand and fight for the King? He is coming back soon to judge and make war.

Revelation 19:11-16

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
