Being Perfected Through Suffering

May the grace of God be upon you,

I would like to share some words that really touched my heart today while I was reading the word of the Almighty God. I hope these words may also lift you up and encourage you during times of sufferings in your flesh or in your spiritual man. All suffering has a profit to you IF your life is on the hands of God. Humble yourself under the mighty hands of the Lord and He will exalt you in due time, but accept what He has for you first for your own profit, growth, strength and perfection.

1 Peter 5:10 - But may the God of all grace, who called us  to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

See how wonderful this is: Suffering is NOT eternal with the Lord, the sufferings He makes us pass in this life they have a limit date, they have an end, but we must be tested and proved as well, but after a while, these sufferings will bring : perfection in our inner man, He will establish us, He will strengthen us, and He will settle us!!! This sanctification process is amazing! I know that sometimes is not joyful when you are corrected, when you are purged, when you are exhorted, but it produces much fruit afterwards. And we can be witness of His mighty work in us and glorify His Holy name.

You know that it is easy to be reading the Scriptures every single day, all day long like a book? Or even be listening to preachings in churches or internet all day as well? But, if the things that you read or listen about the gospel of the kingdom are not believed, they will profit you absolutely NOTHING! Pay attention to these scriptures below:

Hebrews 4:2 -For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.

You must believe that sufferings will profit your soul and your growth in the Lord, you must stand firm in the faith when they reach you, for the Lord corrects and purges those who He loves. Your faith is the element that touches the Heart of God. Faith always moved the heart of God and will always do!

Why would we be different from our Lord? Look at all the sufferings Jesus Christ had to pass through to learn obedience as well, and the scriptures says:

Hebrews 2:10 - For it was fitting for Him, for whom are all things and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

(Amazing Scriptures right here to be meditated upon every single day) Hebrews 5: 5-11 -So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “ You are My Son,Today I have begotten You.”  As He also says in another place:“ You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek”; who, in the days of His flesh, when He had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death, and was heard because of His godly fear, 8 though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him,  called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing.

I pray that these words may encourage you and lift you up in much faith that all sufferings are temporary and profitable and that your faith is the element that will move you forward in everything the Lord has for you!

May the Lord of peace and rest be with you always,

Trusting God In Our Today And Tomorrow

Proverbs 27:1 says: “ Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.”

I would like to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ and all those who are taking time to read this word from the living God to trust God with all your heart, soul and mind, for it is very easy to smile and praise God while everything is going smooth in your life, but when things start getting out of your control and hands, we tend to start doubting God and faint in the faith for things are not going to the direction that we would like them to go. But remember that God is in control of everything if you committed your life to Him and serve Him with all your heart and also remember:

Hebrews 11:1 which says: “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.”

If you are not seeing right now something that you expected or hoped for, it is time to use your faith in order to receive it IF your request or prayer is under the Father’s will. Because sometimes we can also ask things to God for our own pleasure and He does not answer for our own good.

Please do not faint when your faith is tested and your today and your tomorrow start being out of your control! That is the time to use your faith and stand firm in what you have believe!! Your plans most of the times are NOT God’s plans. God’s plans are much higher and better than ours for He is the only one who can search what is inside the hearts of all men and the only one who knows the past, present and future and He is the same yesterday, today and forever! Amem!!!

James 4:13-17says: “Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” Otherwise you are boasting about your own plans, and all such boasting is evil. Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.”

Trust all your life and worries to the Lord! He knows everything you need before you need them! Whoever trust in their riches will fall (Proverbs 11:28) and those who trust in their own hearts are unwise (Proverbs 28:26), but those who trust in the Lord are safe (Proverbs 29:25). Glory be to God!

The verses below will show every single professing Christian that reads, listens and obeys the word of God what they should do in order NOT to be worrying about their everyday lives. And those who do not obey the word of God yet should meditate in these words and give their whole hearts, souls and minds to the Lord in order to be able to rest and have peace in their lives as well, not just in the physical part but mainly in the spiritual part.

Christians should not be running around during the night without being able to sleep or talking pills to sleep because they are worried about money and things, they should not be acquiring diseases like ulcers in the stomach and such because their nervous system is about to have a breakdown with so many worries! This is NOT the rest that the Lord has promised to those who trust Him! We must have faith and give it all to Him in order to rest and rejoice in the Lord, even in the midst of our struggles and difficulties. We must seek His kingdom and do righteousness and the rest shall be given to us! The Scriptures below will show clearly that these worries are for UNBELIEVERS not for those who profess and say that have faith or they believe the Lord can do things for them!

Mathew 6:25-34 says: “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?“And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith? “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God* above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.

Do not be fooled by those who do not believe in Jesus Christ and His resurrection and keep saying that everything you believe is not right and you had your brain washed and all these good news are fairy tales! Do not be deceived by those who say that Jesus Christ is NOT the savior of the world or that He cannot do anything for you! Do not give ears to those who do not know Christ and His power for they can corrupt your righteous deeds and your character. Do not give the flesh a foothold to sin just because you cannot fit some corrupted sayings and actions of some people! Keep your head up and believe what you read and hear: “The Good News of Jesus Christ that brings salvation to the soul and gives rest and peace to those who believe them!”

1 Corinthians 15:32-34 says: “And what value was there in fighting wild beasts—those people of Ephesus*—if there will be no resurrection from the dead? And if there is no resurrection, “Let’s feast and drink, for tomorrow we die!”* Don’t be fooled by those who say such things, for “bad company corrupts good character.” Think carefully about what is right, and stop sinning. For to your shame I say that some of you don’t know God at all.

I hope you can trust all to the Lord today! Pray and fight the good fight of faith to be delivered from all the worries that are surrounding your heart , mind and soul and rely solely in Christ and His eternal power for He is the only one that can give you rest and peace and make you rejoice in this process of the testing of your faith and make you grow and mature to be complete and perfect in Him!

God bless you,
Much love in Christ,

Apostles & Prophets, The Foundation Of The Church

It is becoming more and more evident as the days of this age come to an end, that the church of Jesus Christ is out of order and the function of the gifts that Jesus gave to the church have been forgotten in the seemingly endless stream of pastors, mega-churches, and the traditions of men that fill the souls of the congregants with false teachings in man-made buildings.

In Matthew 16:18 Jesus tells Peter that He would build His church upon this rock and the gates of hell would not prevail against it.

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

The church is NOT a building, and this is evident from the multiple buildings that have been burned down or destroyed in natural disasters over the years. Jesus meant that He would put His Spirit inside of Peter and his vessel would become the temple of God, part of the body of Christ, which is the church.

We can understand from Luke 6:13 that Jesus had called His disciples to Himself after spending the whole night in prayer to God, and chose twelve of them out of the gathering to be His apostles.

“And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;”

The ordination and appointing that these twelve disciples received was to a position of leadership that differed from the other disciples who were with Jesus. These twelve chosen men would also receive a greater anointing, preparation, training, teaching, and fellowship with Jesus than the rest of His disciples.

Mark 3:13-15

“And He went up on the mountain and called to Him those He Himself wanted. And they came to Him. Then He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:”

Jesus did not appoint all the disciples that followed Him to the office of apostle and He only chose twelve to walk closely with Him so that He could prepare them to go out and preach, heal sicknesses and cast out demons.

Luke 8:1,9-10

“Now it came to pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,”

“Then His disciples asked Him, saying, “What does this parable mean?” And He said, “To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand.”

These twelve disciples who were named apostles were with Jesus everywhere He went, and they were chosen to receive the mysteries of the kingdom of God. Everyone else Jesus spoke to, He spoke in parables and they could not see, or understand what He was saying.

Paul, who was also called to be an apostle said in 1st Cor. 4:1

Let a man so consider us (apostles), as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.”

Matthew 28:16-20

“Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

When we re-examine the scriptures that are commonly called ‘the great commission’ and we contrast them with the scriptures in Luke 6:13 and Mark 3:14-15 we can see that Jesus did not tell every disciple then or every professing Christian today, to go out, preach the gospel, heal sicknesses, cast out demons, make disciples, baptize them, and teach them everything Jesus commanded. That wouldn’t be possible because these eleven original apostles were physically taught by Jesus and were with Him for three and a half years during His earthly ministry. (Judas we know hung himself)

Acts 1:1-3

“The former account I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which He was taken up, after He through the Holy Spirit had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen, to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.”

In these scriptures we read Jesus giving His chosen apostles commandments and talking to them about the kingdom of God, this is before they were sent out to preach and empowered by the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 1:21-26 we see the replacement of Judas with one of the disciples who had been with Jesus and the other apostles from the beginning of His ministry, this is more evidence of the many other disciples that followed Jesus.

Therefore, of these men who have accompanied us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from the baptism of John to that day when He was taken up from us, one of these must become a witness with us of His resurrection.” And they proposed two: Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. And they prayed and said, “You, O Lord, who know the hearts of all, show which of these two You have chosen to take part in this ministry and apostleship from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.” And they cast their lots, and the lot fell on Matthias. And he was numbered with the eleven apostles.”

Paul told the Ephesians that they had become citizens with the saints and members of the household of God because they had been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets.

Ephesians 2:19-20

“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,”

And in Ephesians 4:11-12 we are given the five gifts or offices that Jesus gave to the church for the edification of the saints, and the building up of the body of Christ.

“And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,”

1st Corinthians 12:28-30

“Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?”

In these scriptures we see that we are all the body of Christ and members individually, but God appointed leaders in the church, without leaders there would be no order, and we can see in 1st Cor. 14 how Paul the apostle had to set things in order so that the assembly of the saints could function the way God wants it to.

In conclusion there is an order in the church and each office has a role or function in the church. When this order becomes disorderly and the traditions of man nullify the commandments of God, we see the effects of a powerless gospel preached by those who are not called, ordained, appointed, and sent by Jesus to be a leader in His church. The Lord has spoken through His prophets and prophesied of a time of restoration in the last days, and I believe that time is very near, even at the door.

May God bless and keep you,
Tyrone

The Waiting Room

Romans 5:2-5 - By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Tribulation – Greek Transliteration: thlipsis - pressure , affliction, anguish, burden, persecution, tribulation, trouble.

Worketh - Greek Transliteration: katergazomai - to work fully, i.e. accomplish; by implication to finish, fashion :- cause, do (deed), perform, work (out).

Patience - Greek Transliteration: hypomonē - cheerful (or hopeful) endurance, constancy :- enduring, patience, patient continuance (waiting).

Experience - Greek Transliteration: dokimē - test (abstract or concrete); by implication trustiness :- experience (-riment), proof, trial.

Hope - Greek Transliteration: elpis - from a primary elpo (to anticipate, usually with pleasure); expectation (abstract or concrete) or confidence :- faith, hope.

Ashamed - Greek Transliteration: kataischynō - to shame down, i.e. disgrace or (by implication) put to the blush :- confound, dishonour, (be a-, make a-) shame.

Psalm 31:24 - Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

Psalm 37:39 - But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Psalm 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Romans 8:24-26 - For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:35-37 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Distress - narrowness of room,calamity :- anguish.

Famine - scarcity of food:- dearth, hunger

Nakedness - nudity (absolute or comparative)

Peril - danger

Do not get mad during this process of waiting, God is working in your negative emotions, hold on, keep the synchrony with the Lord, because God will reward you. Patience keeps you synchronized with God, makes you rest in Him and makes God turn towards you. When you start getting quiet waiting, when you keep your integrity, your soul right, He sees and answers you. Patience will allow you to possess the Land, the promise God made you, the full inheritance. Just God can bring you into the Land, into the place of blessing. But can God do it instantaneously? Yes, He can, but most of all promises in the Bible happened within a process of waiting. The majority had to pass through a process because God is working with you, be gracious, do not be harsh with your parents, with your children, spouse, people you love, it just damages, it does not motivate anybody! God wants you to go and reach the promise but progressively, not overnight because if He puts you there overnight and you are not able to receive everything He has prepared, it will damage your soul and mess you up. Do not insist with God in some things for right now if He is refining you, giving you experience before you inherit it.

Romans 12:12 - Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.

2 Corinthians 1: 2-4; 6 - Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. 3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. 6 Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer.

We may pass through many things in order to minister to people who are suffering as we suffered one day or as we are suffering right now. We do not have the same authority to minister people about patience if we have never waited patiently for anything, if we always made things our way! We pass through these waiting moments, we are comforted and strengthened by God and after that we are able to help people and also comfort them.

2 Corinthians 6:4-10 - In everything we do, we show that we are true ministers of God. We patiently endure troubles and hardships and calamities of every kind. 5 We have been beaten, been put in prison, faced angry mobs, worked to exhaustion, endured sleepless nights, and gone without food. 6 We prove ourselves by our purity, our understanding, our patience, our kindness, by the Holy Spirit within us, and by our sincere love. 7 We faithfully preach the truth. God’s power is working in us. We use the weapons of righteousness in the right hand for attack and the left hand for defense. 8 We serve God whether people honor us or despise us, whether they slander us or praise us. We are honest, but they call us impostors. 9 We are ignored, even though we are well known. We live close to death, but we are still alive. We have been beaten, but we have not been killed. 10 Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything.

2 Timothy 2:24 - A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people.

These are amazing verses talking about how great is to suffer to preach the Gospel, how wonderful is to pass all this but yet having God on your side and fighting the fight with you! Every time you think that all you do is not enough, all you do is not bringing you riches, all you do is not being recognized, all you do is right but yet people call you an impostor, a liar, a dreamer, all you do is denying yourself and you are despised, even in the midst of all these things you faced one day or have been facing lately, know that God is looking at you and is smiling at you and very proud of having you as His son/daughter. He loves you unconditionally and He will give you the reward. Your work was never in vain, is never in vain and will never be in vain!!!!

WAITING GIVES US OPPORTUNITY TO WORK OUT OUR FAITH. Some people in the Thessalonia church were falsely teaching that because Christ would return any day, people should set aside their responsibilities, quit work, do no future planning, and just wait for the Lord. But their lack of activity only led them into sin. They became a burden to the church, which was supporting them; they wasted time that could have been used for helping others; and they became busybodies. These church members may have thought that they were being more spiritual by not working, but Paul tells them to be responsible and get back to work. Being ready for Christ means obeying Him in every area of life. Because we know that Christ is coming, we must live in such a way that our faith and our daily practice will please Him when He arrives.

Hebrews 6:11-15 - Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts, in order to make certain that what you hope for will come true. 12 Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent . Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.13 For example, there was God’s promise to Abraham. Since there was no one greater to swear by, God took an oath in his own name, saying:14“I will certainly bless you ,and I will multiply your descendants beyond number.”*15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.

James 5:7-11 - Dear brothers and sisters ,be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen. 8 You, too, must be patient. Take courage, for the coming of the Lord is near.9 Don’t grumble about each other, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. For look—the Judge is standing at the door! 10 For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.

You can wait upon the Lord in many ways but keep on spreading the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ:

You can wait in Christ - Ephesians 1:12-14 - That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

You can wait in God - Psalm 42:5 - Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

You can wait in His Word - Psalm 119:74,81,114,147 - 74They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word. 81My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word. 114Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word. 147I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

You can wait ministering unto the Lord – Acts 13:1-4 - Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. 2As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.3And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away. 4So they, being sent forth by the Holy Ghost, departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.

You can wait in Jerusalem until you receive power to go to other cities, countries or nations– Luke 24:49 – And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Tarry - to seat down, i.e. set (figurative appoint); intransitive to sit (down); figurative to settle (hover, dwell):- continue, set, sit (down). Be endued - in the sense of sinking into a garment; to invest with clothing (literal or figurative) :- array, clothe (with), endue, have (put) on.

Patience is the quality of who waits quietly, calmly.

James 3:17 - But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

Galatians 5:22 - But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Proverbs 12:25 -Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person up.

Luke 12:29-31 - “And don’t be concerned about what to eat and what to drink. Don’t worry about such things. 30 These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers all over the world, but your Father already knows your needs. 31 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.

Philippians 4:6 -Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.

2 Corinthians 4:17 - For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever!

1 Peter 5:7; 10 - Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. 10 In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation.

Romans 15:4 - For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

A Poem : “Wait” by Russell Kelfer

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly, God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate.
and the Master so gently said, Wait.

Wait? you say wait?" my indignant reply.
Lord, I need answers , I need to know why !
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith I have asked, and I'm claiming your Word.

My future and all to which I relate
hangs in the balance and you tell me to Wait?
I'm needing a 'yes', a go-ahead sign.
Or even a 'no,' to which I'll resign.

You promised, dear Lord, that if we believe,
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry:
I'm weary of asking! I need a reply.

Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate
as my Master replied again, Wait.
So I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut,
and grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting for what?

He seemed then to kneel, and His eyes met with mine.
and He tenderly said, I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead and cause mountains to run.

I could give all you seek and pleased you would be.
You'd have what you want, but you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of My love for each saint.
You'd not know the power that I give to the faint.

You'd not learn to see through clouds of despair;
you'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there.
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me
when darkness and silence are all you can see.

You'd never experience the fullness of love
when the peace of My spirit descends like a dove.
You would know that I give, and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart.

The glow of My comfort late into the night,
the faith that I give when you walk without sight.
The depth that's beyond getting just what you ask
From an infinite God who makes what you have last.

You'd never know should your pain quickly flee,
what it means that My grace is sufficient for thee.
Yes, your dearest dreams overnight would come true,
but oh, the loss if I lost what I'm doing in you.

So, be silent, my child, and in time you will see
that the greatest of gifts is to truly know me.
And though of My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still "WAIT"

May God in His infinite mercies help us to wait, teach us what He wants us to learn in this process, that our faith may be approved and that our hope may be achieved, that our testimonies may glorify His name and bring salvation to many who are walking hopelessly, may this waiting room be a powerful weapon of teaching others what to do, and how to wait even when crying but yet having a joyful heart towards the Lord and His promises. I pray that some of my waiting room experience can bless you through these words which are alive and true.

With much love in Christ;

Expounding A Word I Received From The Lord

By: Cynthia R. Palmer

Last year(2009) on a Friday morning, I was going to work and I was praying in the spirit inside my car and I saw a red light and I heard in my conscious these words in Portuguese ( my native language ):

“NEM TODOS ENTRARAO” which means in English: “ NOT ALL WILL ENTER”

I meditated in these words and I was inspired to expound them through:

Matthew 7:13- Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

These are many kinds of gates that we can find in this world , but for God there are just 2 gates: the strait gate and the wide gate. The strait gate is the one that we can choose to enter to have eternal life and live with Him forever IF we do what He says we must do to enter into it. And the wide gate is the gate which leads to hell, to destruction IF you practice evil works and unrighteousness. Those who choose to enter this gate will never ever have rest.

I will put here the explanation of the strait and the wide gates from the dictionary to help you understand what they are, even though I am talking about something spiritual, not a physical gate:

STRAIT GATE – 1archaic : STRICT , RIGOROUS2archaic a: NARROW b: limited in space or time c: closely fitting : CONSTRICTED , TIGHT3 a: causing distress : DIFFICULT b: limited as to means or resources

WIDE GATE - 1 a: having great extent : VAST b: extending over a vast area : EXTENSIVE c: extending throughout a specified area or scope —usually used in combination d: COMPREHENSIVE , INCLUSIVE 2 a: having a specified extension from side to side <3 feet wide> b: having much extent between the sides : BROAD (spacious, full, liberal, tolerant) c: fully opened d: LAX 43 a: extending or fluctuating considerably between limits.

So, what to do to enter the narrow gate? Here are some examples we find in Scriptures to follow:

DO GOD’S WILL - Matthew 7:21- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father( Jesus’s Father = GOD) which is in heaven. What is the will of God? It is Sanctification and the mortification of the flesh and all human will in order to be free to do God’s will. (1 Thessalonians 4:3).

HEAR GOD’S SAYINGS AND PRACTICE THEM - Matthew 7: 24 - Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

LABOUR FAITHFULLY AND BELIEVEHebrews 4:11 - Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

OBEY GOD’S COMMANDMENTSRevelation 4:22 - Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

BE CONVERTED AND BECOME AS CHILDREN TO GOD – Matthew 18:3 - And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

PASS THROUGH MUCH TRIBULATION IN CHRIST – Acts 14:22 - Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

I hope and pray that this expounding can help anyone who is reading and still did not decide to do God’s will to run to HIM and obey His words and practice all works of righteousness and receive His Holy Spirit and the sanctification that comes with the gift of God. And to those who are walking with the Lord and obeying His commands, I hope these words can inspire you to keep faithful and persevere until the end to receive your crown of life.

God bless You so much!

Visions And Words From The Lord 03/30/2009

Hello saints,

I would like to share something very strong that the Lord showed me through His grace in the moment me and Tyrone were praying. We prayed and started sharing some things and these words came to me:

- The Trumpet of Truth is sounding

- Who shall hear?

- Who shall stop the Lord?

- The Trumpet of Truth is sounding

Which led me to search: 1 Corinthians 14:8 - 8For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

- Who shall hear?

Which led me to search : - Will the Lord find faith in the earth?

Ephesians 6:14- 14Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.

- Who shall stop the Lord?

And I saw like the Lord (very very tall..I could not even see His face) walking on the earth not slowly, but fast and He was carrying a very very long staff. like the one above. I could just see the very big feet of the Lord, it was huge and could destroy many just under it. And He suddenly and fast slams His staff of Justice inside the earth like He came with the purpose to bring Justice.

Romans 2:2-But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.

And then, a saw a heart with a very big band-aid, like almost the whole heart was hurt. and the Lord was taking the band-aids from many and many hearts, exposing the hurt of them.

My understanding of the vision and words:

I understood that the Lord is now sounding the trumpet of truth to the earth and He is calling the people to hear it and many will not give importance because there is no faith in their hearts and also the Lord is tired of the false ministers and false brethren and gospels trying to put band-aids in the hearts of men, pretending that it will heal them, but the hurt is there and needs healing and the Lord is bringing His justice to the earth, not playing games with people and He was taking the band-aids from the hearts exposing the hurts of the people to realize even that they were hurt, because it sounded to me that the people did not even know they were hurt because the band-aid was always there.

It is the time of the Lord to heal the hearts of men from all false gospels which have been preached and the Lord is bringing His Justice to the earth and those who hear it will be healed and will be able to take part with the table of grace and truth of the Lord and receive His Spirit.

John 8:32-34 - And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

May God bless us and give us wisdom, love and patience to help all those who He puts near us to speak the truth. May the Lord find us approved to help as many souls as He desires.

God bless you all,
With much love in Christ,

Vision From the Lord - 06/06/2010 - Prayer Time

Me and Tyrone were praying today in the morning and while we were praying , a vision came to my mind and did not leave it. I saw a big desert and Jesus was sitting down on the well and a woman came and Jesus asked for water. At this time I remembered the Scripture that talks about this story in John 4. I went to the Scriptures to read it with my husband. And also in this desert something called my attention because there were 2 very tall fires very far from the well, but visible that it was in that desert. It was like if the desert was being attacked from above, like bombs being sent to that desert.

Me and Tyrone talked about this vision and "we thought" about a coming attack, but in the midst of the attacks, in the middle of the fire Jesus will feed us with His Word and quench our thirst with His living waters. He will also go to places where people are despised by the society ( like this Samaritan woman) who I believe was very despised by society probably because she had 5 husbands and the one she was with at that time was not even her husband. Jesus will never forget those who do not know Him yet, He will pass through a place just because one soul. Also this message shows us how Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit brought out the woman's sin without condemnation or judgement and this led to many others believing in Him because of her testimony, "come see a man that told me all things I ever did."

Read John 4:3-14 -  "He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. But He needed to go through Samaria. So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food. Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

I hope that you can be edified by this vision which reminded me of His words and also enforced that Jesus will always be with us in the midst of attacks.

God bless you,
Cynthia R. Palmer
