He Shall Come In Peaceably!

What does prophecy look like being fulfilled in reality? Jesus fulfilled ALL the prophecies about Him that were prophesied in scripture.

Acts 3:18

"But the things which God announced beforehand by the mouth of all the prophets, that His Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled."

Luke 24:44

"Now He said to them, “These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

Luke 4:16-21

"So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him.  And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

Daniel the prophet and interpreter of dreams, was given prophecies about the end times like John the apostle of Jesus was given the visions and words of the book of Revelation.

Daniel prophesied these words written in Daniel 11:20-24

“There shall arise in his place one who imposes taxes on the glorious kingdom; but within a few days he shall be destroyed, but not in anger or in battle. And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue.  With the force of a flood they shall be swept away from before him and be broken, and also the prince of the covenant. And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time."

Is it possible that Barack H. Obama, the 44th President of the United States for a total of eight years, can be the man that Daniel prophesied about? It is possible!

When Jesus was fulfilling the scriptures during His earthly ministry, nobody had one clue or understanding of what was happening! Even His own disciples that He spoke plainly too, didn't understand much of what Jesus said! Do you think it would be any different today? No!

The carnal mind CANNOT understand spiritual things! Your mind has to opened by the Lord Himself and the Spirit of the Living God to able to comprehend what happens in the spirit realm and what prophecies look like being fulfilled in the physical realm.

While I was at work one day and I heard about Obama winning the Nobel peace prize after being in office for less than eight months, I felt in my spirit, the Lord revealing to me that this was fulfilling the prophecy Daniel spoke when he said, 'he shall enter peaceably'. And this is the nature of revelations from God, He gives them to whom He chooses, but not to everyone.

"Barack H. Obama, the 44th President of the United States, had been in power for less than eight months when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009. Among the reasons it gave, the Nobel Committee lauded Obama for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. Emphasis was also given to his support - in word and deed - for the vision of a world free from nuclear weapons."

Keep watch people! The Lord is standing at the door! And I certainly believe that many more prophecies of scripture will be fulfilled in the coming years and it will become more and more obvious of the times we are living in. Time to get in the ark before the door closes on you!

Change!

Nobody likes change do they? Especially the elderly!

Why is that? I believe because elderly people are so set in their ways, habits, lifestyle, ideology, etc.... that when something new comes they immediately reject it! 'That's not how we do things here', they say, or how about this one, 'in our day we would never do that!', it goes on and on.

When Jesus started His earthly ministry two thousand years ago, He changed everything! Especially for those who believed and followed Him.  He totally went against the grain of all the religious establishments and traditions of men. But isn't that what God is supposed to do?  Or should God bow to the will of man? His own creation? Of course not!

I personally like change, especially changes within myself! Because every time the Spirit of the Lord exposes some evil within me, I get set free from it! And that changes me! I become more and more like Christ everyday!

One of the main reasons the Pharisees hated Jesus was because He told them the truth about themselves, about their deeds, their hard hearts, and their traditions that nullified the commandments of God.

When the truth is brought to our attention by scripture or someone used by God to share that truth, the focus should be on repenting if we're in error, and crying out to God for forgiveness so we can be forgiven and healed, which results in change!

Matthew 10:34-39

“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household.  Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."

Now those scriptures are VERY challenging, hard to accept, and hard to put into practice, and they are truly life changing and soul altering! But if you hear and obey them, they will lead your soul to eternal life with God!

Change is hard! But change MUST come! And indeed it is already here!

Will you flow with the changing winds of the Spirit? Or will you be blown away as God continues to blow His breath of judgments upon this earth?

As always, the choice is yours!

In Christ,
