Perfect In Christ (Audio Message)

Listen in to this timely word for the bride of Christ and be encouraged in your soul by the truth of Jesus Christ!

In Jesus,

  1. Shalom Tyrone,

I listened to the message and can say that I was blessed. I'm encourage by the message of being perfect in Christ. This is not a popular message but it is the truth. I'm blessed to see YHWH showing this to you in study.

At around 12:30-13:30 you suggest that we need to hear the audible voice of Jesus (Yahshua) in order to know His voice. Is this what you mean?

Also around 17-18min. into the message you seemed to suggest that when a person is cleansed from sin there remains stains that need to be cleansed. How do you reconcile that with 2Cor.5:17 & Eze.36:26? I agree with you that sin creates a propensity to do the same sin again thereby creating a weakness to it. But Paul gloried in that weakness that the power of Yahshua may rest upon Him.

Again Tyrone I thank YHWH for this message He gave you and look forward to hearing more.

    Shalom In Yahshua.

    1. Hi Yuri, praise the Lord that you were blessed and encouraged by this message, it is most definitely the truth other-wise it would not be in the scriptures!

To answer your first question, Jesus Himself said in John 10:27 "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."

Those are the written words of Jesus, but He also speaks audibly through His Spirit in the ears and hearts of His sheep today! He spoke to His disciples from Heaven in the 1st century, and we can read many accounts of that in the book of Acts, and He also speaks to His sheep audibly in the 21st century as well.

It wasn't until I was filled or baptized in the Holy Spirit that I heard the audible voice of Jesus. Before that time I called myself a Christian for eight years but I learned that I didn't have the Spirit of God in my heart.

Jesus said MY sheep HEAR my VOICE, that's much more than just reading the scriptures and hearing them in our minds or reading them out loud. How else could we know His voice if He didn't speak audibly to us?

To answer your second question, the scriptures tell us that when we are born from above we are ‘forgiven’ of our sins and God doesn't remember our sins and iniquities anymore. The word also tells us that we are ‘washed’ and ‘cleansed’ by the blood of Jesus, those two words signify a process of cleansing from the sins we committed as sinners.

The stains or the consequences of those previous sins remain in the flesh, heart, and soul, these stains are what the scriptures call spots, wrinkles, blemishes, and strongholds. That's why the body (flesh) needs to be sanctified, made holy, or consecrated for use by God. The heart needs to be circumcised and purified, the mind or conscious needs to be purged of all dead works. The soul needs to be washed of all darkness, etc….

We are not completely sanctified or purified the moment we enter the body of Christ, it's a process, that's why Paul said to the Philippian saints, ‘work out your own salvation with fear and trembling’, we need to attain to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, he also wrote about the spiritual weapons we fight with that are able to tear down strongholds of the enemy that are built up in our flesh, hearts, and minds, etc… from past sins.

The process of sanctification is not easy to explain, and I definitely don't understand it all but I pray this helps you and I encourage you to study this out for yourself and pray about it.

  2. Shalom Tyrone,

I agree that we are a new creature in Yahshua. (2Cor.5:17). I agree with you that what avails us is a new creature.(Gal.6:15) I also agree with you that we have inherited and cultivated tendencies to evil (the carnal nature) to conqueror with the help of Yahshua's abiding Ruach (Spirit). I agree that we must mortify the deeds of the body (Rom.8:13) in our warfare against the flesh. The new man is after the Spirit; therefore we are enabled to work the works of Messiah. However, we have these truths in earthen vessels, and we are told that the spirit warreth against the flesh and the flesh against the spirit.(Gal.5:17) which is why we need; by the grace of YHWH, to dstroy the flesh and feed the spirit. Yahshua said Ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Therefore we are clean. However, as long as we are in these bodies we need to keep it under subjection, or the old carnal nature would appear. Thus two mindsets are continually striving for supremacy; the flesh and the spirit. It is our privilege and duty to destroy (in the power of Yahshua) the flesh and live in the Ruach.

Tyrone, I think we agree maybe I would've used different words; and that's ok. I was blessed by the teaching.

Therefore I agree that sanctification is the process of a life time; and justification is the work of a moment. Not many Christians I've met would agree with this, which is why I'm glad to see that you do.

    1. Hi Yuri,

      Thanks again for commenting.

When Jesus said to His disciples 'you are clean because of the word I have spoken to you', He was talking to them in the 1st century, not us today. They were with Jesus for three and a half years being washed by the Spirit anointed words He spoke to them everyday. There are millions of people who profess to be Christians but are not, and if they have not been born of water and Spirit then it's not possible for them to receive the cleansing of the Spirit that's needed for them to be sanctified (made holy).

Sanctification is indeed a process but it does have an end for some in this age. There were some saints in the 1st century church who were completely sanctified according to scripture.

      1st Cor. 1:2, 6:11

"To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:"

"And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

We are called to be faithful everyday as disciples of Jesus but it is the work of the Spirit, the water of the word(Rhema), and the Blood of Jesus that cleanses the flesh, soul, and spirit from all sin and iniquity.

  3. In regards to hearing the audible voice of Yahshua; my concern is that people are looking for spiritual manifestations that lead into error. I'm not saying you are but I know that many today are putting spiritual experiences before the Scriptures. I do believe that Yahshua has and does speak to His people. My primary experience is through His voice to my conscience. Also through dreams and visions (and these are all by faith) But in all these I go to His Word for confirmation; for I know that He will never speak contrary to His word.

Shalom In Yahshua and thanks for sharing.

    1. There are indeed many who seek spiritual manifestations, signs and wonders etc.. but for the 1st century believers the signs and wonders that followed the message of Jesus were a part of His ministry as well as that of the apostles.

      Jesus said in John 14:12

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

The Lord also spoke audibly and through the Spirit to Peter, Paul, Philip, John etc... after His ascension into Heaven. Paul and John were blessed to see and hear the risen Christ speaking to them.

      Acts 2:17-18

‘And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; And they shall prophesy."

When the Spirit of God is poured out on the flesh of man, they will speak in other languages, they will prophesy, they will have dreams, and they will have visions.

      In Jesus,

  4. Tyrone-I agree with you on Acts 2:17-18 we are also told that the brethren will not be ignorant of Satan's devices. (2Cor.2:11)and what are these? 2Thess. 2:9 calls them lying wonders; verse 11 calls them strong delusions, In 2Cor.11:14-15 Paul (under inspiration) says that even Satan himself is ".... transformed into an angel of light. Therefore [it is] no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. And in the Revelation of Yahshua Messiah (Rev.13) it says "And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." And in Rev. 16 we find "And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Although I agree that signs and wonders will follow the believers of Yahshua I do not believe that miracles will be a test of YHWH'S approval on any work because Satan will also work miracles. But the real test will be "By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." (Jn.13:35) and "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them." (Isa.8:20) and "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (Jn.14:15).

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. (Rev.16:15)

Tyrone, I share these verse not to one that is unskillful; for I perceive that YHWH is blessing you with deep revelation from His Word; but I share as one who would put you in remembrance of these things though you know them. And it is also for my good; lest I also forget.

I listened to your most recent study and rejoice in things which we can agree on. May YHWH continue bless you, your family, and your study and ministry.

    Shalom In Yahshua.

    1. Hi Yuri,

In 2nd Cor 2:5-11 Paul is talking to the brethren about another brother who has apparently committed a sin and he instructed the other saints to forgive him and reaffirm their love for him. Paul said 'I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ, lest Satan should take advantage of us; for we are not ignorant of his devices.'

I understand from these scriptures and others that Paul was talking here about not allowing Satan to take advantage of them through unforgiveness, which is most definitely one of many devices he uses to gain a foothold in the lives of God's people. Paul was not talking about Satan's devices being false signs and wonders in those scriptures.

In 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 Paul is talking to the thessalonian saints about the lawless one (son of perdition, the antichrist) who will perform lying signs and wonders by the working of Satan. In verse 11 the scripture tells us that God will send a strong delusion (judgment) upon those who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

The Rev. 13 scriptures you quoted are talking about the false prophet who will also perform lying signs and wonders in the presence of the beast (lawless one, the antichrist)

Regarding your unbelief that signs, wonders, and miracles are not a test of God's approval of His work. Read these scriptures carefully.

      Acts 2:22

“Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know—"

      I quote John 14:12 again

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father."

Jesus confirmed the gospel message of the apostles with accompanying signs.

      Mark 16:19-20

"So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen."

Satan will work false signs and lying wonders, but that's just what they will be, lies to deceive people and Satan's power will never be greater than God's, period!

Loving one another is a commandment of Jesus and bearing much fruit is a product of growing in the Lord and the work of the Holy Spirit in the inner man, but the Lord will confirm the preaching of His word with signs, wonders, and miracles being worked through His chosen vessels. The sick will be healed, the lame will walk, the blind will see, the dead will be raised, the demons will be cast out, and the whole world will hear the good news of the Kingdom of God. As it was in the 1st century so it will be again in the 21st, but much greater!

I praise the Lord that you are listening to His word and truth, all glory be to the Most High God!

      In Jesus,

  5. Tyrone,

With regards to your 2:59pm post I wish to make the following comment:

I believe you and I would agree with (Rom.15:4) For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." And although Paul is making reference to the Torah and the Prophets and Writings (The Tanach) {OT} we must conclude that what Paul (under inspiration of the Ruach) wrote is for our learning. Hence the words of Yahshua have as much force now as they did when He spoke them to the disciples in Jn.15:3.

I agree with you that not all who say they are Jews are Jews? (Rev.2:9)but are the synagogue of Satan. Like Judas many today are betraying sacred trust and are holding the truth in unrighteousness. And as you said, some have not been truly converted (as shown by their fruits).

I agree that when Yahshua comes back on His white horse, He is coming for a people that are without spot or wrinkle, so yes, at some point Yahshua would have brought His people to a state of sinlessness, though they will hardly be aware of it....because it is written " Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed [thee]? or thirsty, and gave [thee] drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took [thee] in? or naked, and clothed [thee]? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me. (Matt.25:34-40)

Yahshua would have done (with our cooperation in obedience to Him); such a thorough work of purification in our hearts; that all the good works we had wrought under His guidance and approval will be hardly remembered. The works will be wrought but they will not be focused upon because the soul is full of admiration for Yahshau and His love and we will do all for Him and yet not filled with pride and self importance; but filled with the spirit of self-forgetfulness for Him who first loved us.

Thanks for you time and attention regarding these things which are so important to us.

    Shalom In Yahshua.

    1. I most certainly agree with Romans 15:4, and also 2nd Timothy 3:16

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

The truth that must be made known here is that the scriptures were inspired by God to be written by earthen vessels and they were obedient to the leading of the Spirit as they wrote down what they received from God.

However, there is no life or power IN the scriptures themselves. What empowers and reveals the mysteries of the inspired written word of God is the Holy Spirit who resides in the heart of one who is born from above.

      Case in point: The Pharisees

Jesus told the Pharisees in John 5:39-40

"You search the Scriptures, for IN THEM YOU THINK you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life."

The Pharisees THOUGHT that just because they searched the scriptures, read them, memorized them, that they had eternal life, but Jesus told them plainly the scriptures testify, witness, or point to HIM, the Living Word, but they were unwilling to go to Him so that they could have life! Jesus was telling them that there was NO LIFE IN the scriptures by themselves!

According to the scriptures in Galatians 3:28 there is no Jew or Greek (Gentile) but all are one in Christ Jesus. There is only one elect now, one chosen people, all those who are baptized into Christ Jesus from every tribe and nation is a Jew inwardly and part of the commonwealth of Israel. There is no Jew or Gentile in the eyes of God.

Praise The Lord for this dialogue.

      Many blessings,
