Arrested For Jesus Name

A brother who has been baptized with the Holy Spirit was arrested on account of the disturbance which the preaching of the Gospel created among the people who crowded about the tent in Pasadena. As he stood to answer the accusation of disturbing the peace, another brother says he saw an angel standing by his side. He was released. The Lord has been doing great things in that place and we expect greater things.

Some workers were preaching on the street corner in Los Angeles and a poor drunkard had just been saved, when a policeman came up and ordered them to stop, and took two of them off to jail. The sister sang all the way to the jail and shouted and prayed while they were there. They soon were anxious to get rid of them and let them go. Meantime the other workers returned to the mission and told how the workers had been arrested and they all went to the altar and prayed and arose praising God; and soon in walked the ones who had been arrested. We are ready not only to go to prison, but to give our lives for Jesus.

Missionaries To Jerusalem

A band of three missionaries, Bro. Andrew Johnson and Sisters Louisa Condit and Lucy M. Leatherman, who have been baptized with the Holy Spirit and received the gift of languages, have left for Jerusalem, going by way of Oakland, leaving there Aug. 10th. Reports came of meetings on the way that four souls received the Pentecost in Colorado Springs and three in Denver. Bro. Johnson has received seven different languages, one of which is the Arabic. Sister Leatherman speaks the Turkish language, and while in Oakland, some were talking on the street about the gift of tongues; Sister Leatherman began to speak just as a man wearing the Turkish fez came by. He listened in wonder and asked what college she had attended, saying she spoke the most perfect Turkish tongue he had heard spoken by a foreigner. He was an educated man from a Turkish college in Constantinople. She told him the Holy Spirit gave her the language which she did not understand herself and he was the first person that had interpreted for her.

God Still Heals

God laid His hand on a little crippled boy seven years of age and healed him of disease and made him whole except his ankles. He walked on the sides of his ankles. Then, when he was fourteen years of age, he had been sent to college and God had called him to preach. One day as he was sitting reading his Bible, a man came for him to go and hold a meeting. He began to say to the Lord: "Father, if I go to that place, it will be necessary for me to walk here and yonder, just put strength into these ankle joints of mine." And immediately he was made whole and leaped and praised God, like the man at the beautiful gate. He has since been in evangelistic work over the United States, seeing multitudes saved, sanctified and healed.

The Shekinah Glory Cloud

"Five years ago, God put it into this man's heart (Bro. Charles Parham) to go over to Topeka, Kansas, to educate missionaries to carry the Gospel. It was a faith school and the Bible was the only textbook. The students had gathered there without tuition or board, God sending in the means to carry on the work. Most of the students had been religious workers and said they had received the baptism with the Holy Spirit a number of years ago. Bro. Parham became convinced that there was no religious school that tallied up with the second chapter of Acts. Just before the first of January 1901, the Bible School began to study the word on the Baptism with the Holy Spirit to discover the Bible evidence of this baptism that they might obtain it.

The students kept up continual prayer in the praying tower. A company would go up and stay three hours, and then another company would go up and wait on God, praying that all the promises of the Word might be wrought out in their lives.

On New Year's night, Miss Agnes N. Ozman, one who had had for years "the anointing that abideth," which she mistook for the baptism, was convinced of the need of a personal Pentecost. A few minutes before midnight, she desired hands laid on her that she might receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. During prayer and invocation of hands, she was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke with other tongues as the Spirit gave utterance.

This made all hungry. Scarcely eating or sleeping, the school with one accord waited on God. On the 3rd of January, 1901, Bro. Parham being absent holding a meeting at the time, while they all waited on God to send the baptism of the Spirit, suddenly twelve students were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, and when Bro. Parham returned and opened the door of the room where they were gathered; a wonderful sight met his eyes. The whole room was filled with a white sheen of light that could not be described, and twelve of the students were on their feet talking in different languages.

He said they seemed to pay no attention at all to him, and he knelt in one corner and said: "O, God, what does this mean?" The Lord said: "Are you able to stand for the experience in the face of persecution and howling mobs?" He said: "Yes, Lord, if you will give me the experience, for the laborer must first be partaker of the fruits." Instantly the Lord took his vocal organs, and he was preaching the Word in another language.

This man has preached in different languages over the United States, and men and women of that nationality have come to the altar and sought God. He was surely raised up of God to be an apostle of the doctrine of Pentecost.

Becoming!

 

John 1:10-13

"He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the [e]right (authority, power) to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God."

This is so deep! A treasure trove of knowledge in these few scriptures! 

1) God Almighty the Creator of Heaven and Earth, and everything in it, prepared a body for Himself to enter His own creation, so that we might have a chance to be redeemed, reconciled, and saved from the corruption and fallen state that all human beings are born in because of  the sin of Adam and Eve. 

2) God Himself in the form of man entered the world through a virgin woman, who was supernaturally impregnated by the Spirit of the Living God, and walked amongst the work of His own hands and was not received by those He made and loved!

3) But the ones who did receive Him and love Him, He gave the authority, right, and power TO BECOME children of God! Oh if you really understood what this means you would be rejoicing from here to eternity!

You see a man or woman can become just about anything they desire to become! That's the power of the soul and spirit working in man to become what they desire. Every human has this power because God made us that way! He breathed a part of Himself, His essence, into man, and man BECAME a Living Being or a Living Soul! The breath of God Almighty made us come alive!!!

Genesis 2:7

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

So you can set your heart and mind to become a doctor, a lawyer, a body builder, a scientist, a basketball player, football player, a baseball player, and the list goes on and on! And all this becoming takes effort, practice, dedication, persistence, study, sacrifice, time and money! 

I thought to myself wow, a human being can devote him or herself to becoming whatever he or she wants to be. So why are there so many who call themselves Christian, who don't desire to become disciples of Jesus? Why don’t most professing Christians devote their lives to Jesus and dedicate their souls to become like the One they profess?

It's so easy to go inside a building, sit down and say amen and hallelujah, sing a few songs, say hi to a few folks, smile, and then go home and watch T.V., or go out to eat at your favorite restaurant, thinking you're better than you were before you went into the building! What a great deception this is!!!

This is why the scripture tells us that the first century Christians devoted themselves to Jesus, the apostles teaching and to each other!

Acts 2:40-45

"And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need."

If you don't become like Jesus, and you don't become His disciple, and you don't devote yourself to His teachings, and His word, then you will most certainly hear these words on the day of judgement, "away from me, I never knew you!"

God’s Workings Amongst His People

No Bottom

We meet many honest souls these days who are under the delusion that they have committed the unpardonable sin. The following incident should be an encouragement to such.

A child of God was attacked by the enemy with the suggestion that she was forsaken of God and had committed the unpardonable sin. She was then on a mission field in the South, separated from other Christian workers; and without any apparent cause, the archenemy that tempted our Savior told her that God hated her. The words, "God hates you" seemed to be continually shouted in her ears and she could not get away from it. She lost her faith and believed the enemy, not knowing his power. The next suggestion was, "Drown yourself in the river." She stood looking into the dark water, but the thought of her dear mother made her turn away.

She returned to her room, and throwing herself down, fell asleep and dreamed. She seemed to be on a boat on which all the people but herself were rejoicing and praising God. She heard the captain call out to the pilot, "Sound the depths and compare it with the love of God." The depths were sounded and the call came back "No bottom! No bottom!" She awoke in an ocean of God's love, all darkness past and the cry ringing in her ears, "No bottom!" For years since then she has been in Gospel work on both sides of the ocean.

The Lord Provides

A sister who was called to Oakland had her faith tested as to her fare, as the time was near and she had not received it. That night she was caught away in the Spirit and when the Lord brought her back, the words came to her, "If I can carry you around Los Angeles without a body, I can take you to Oakland without a fare." So that day she received the money.

T.W. McConnell Testimony

The first time I was out of wood after the Lord had shown me to trust Him, I asked the Lord for wood and the wood did not come. The Lord had shown me that I could not ask for what I already had. If there was flour in the barrel, I could not ask for flour till it was gone. I went down into the basement that morning and found some hard knots that had been laid aside and had enough wood for that day. The "next morning I asked the Lord for wood. The wood did not come. I picked up enough chunks and chips to do that day.

The next morning, I went to the Lord and said, 'Father, there are no more chunks and chips, we are out of wood. Send the wood.' I went down to the city and forgot all about it. Did not think of it, until I returned home, and my daughter said, 'Papa, who brought the wood?' I told her that 'she need not trouble, the Lord would send it.' But she said, 'some man brought wood, who was he that you sent it by?' I thought she was joking, but she said, 'Look in the box and in the basement.' I went down and found a large load of wood already for the stove and just the length that we used in our stove.

I did not know for some time who brought the wood; but one day when holding meetings in South Seattle, a man invited me home with him, and while at dinner he said, 'I want to tell you something that happened to me. I was crossing the bridge with a load of wood. My wife had written out a bill of some things that we had to have, and I needed feed for my horses. I was taking this load of wood in to get the groceries and feed. While out on the bridge and no one near me, an audible voice said behind me and just above me, "Take this wood to McConnell." I looked around me and there was no one near me. I said, "I cannot take this wood to McConnell, I have got to have the groceries and feed," and drove on. The voice said again, "Take this wood to T.W. McConnell." I said, "How can I take this wood to McConnell; I must have these groceries and feed for my horses." And the third time the voice spoke, and so strong that it scared me, and I answered, "Well, I will," for I believed it was the Lord talking. There was no one about.

'I went and made inquiry, finally looked in the directory and found where you lived. I drove to the house and unloaded the wood, then drove back home as quickly as I could, loaded up some wood that I had and drove back to town, sold my wood as soon as I reached town, got my feed and groceries, and from that time I have prospered as never before."

The Gift Of Tongues

We clip the following from the Apostolic Faith published by Bro. Charles. Parham at Baxter, Kansas

A remarkable incident of God's searching power was recorded in Melrose, Kansas, during a revival which has been held by some of our young people at that place.

The power of the Holy Spirit was greatly manifested in the meetings by the speaking in unknown tongues. This was much criticized by the town and vicinity, so the principal physician, who was familiar with several different languages, was prevailed upon to go to the meetings in order to denounce the whole as a fake. Miss Tuthill, in an unknown language to herself, but known to him as Italian, spoke his full name, which no one in the town knew save himself, telling him things that had happened in his life twenty years ago, and on up to the present time, until he cried for mercy and fell on his knees seeking God.

He found full salvation the next day, and is now a believer in 'the Gospel' that Jesus taught, and also in the power of the Holy Spirit that was given unto us to witness to a living Christ. He now says he would rather pray for the sick than give drugs, and is seriously thinking of leaving his profession and going into the Lord's work.

Many precious souls have been saved, sanctified and baptized with the Holy Spirit as a result of the preached word under the Spirit's anointing power."

Jesus Is Coming!

Sister Anna Hall, who came here from Houston, Texas, in response to the call of God, is now assisting in Los Angeles. The Lord led her into the Pentecostal Baptism and gift of tongues without her hearing the truth except from the Word. She related the following wonderful vision and revelation.

A few weeks ago, as we were in our camp meeting, the first night we called our altar service there were 100 at the altar seeking God, and a strange power came into my being that I had felt once before when God wanted to reveal something to me. I have learned that it pays to be quiet before the Lord. I went home to my daughter's house and prepared for bed. Just as the gray dawn began to appear, I waked as if someone had touched my shoulder, and felt the same power. I heard the beautiful warbling of a bird, and thought it was a mocking bird which one might hear there. But no, It seemed away down in my soul. And as that beautiful bird began to sing, I saw a little infant face right before my eyes. And as the song of the bird began to ripple, it began to sound like water running over pebbles. It increased till it sounded like many waters, and the face enlarged till it was a full-grown face. I said, 'Surely this is a messenger from the holy country.' The voice answered, 'Yes, and I have come to tell you that Jesus is coming. Go forward in My name, preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, for the King's business demands haste. My people have only time to get on the beautiful garments, and prepare for the wedding supper in the Heavens.' Dear ones, have you got on the beautiful robes of righteousness? I said, 'Lord, reveal unto me what this means, the singing of the bird and rippling of the waters.' And God spoke to me, 'The singing of the beautiful bird and the baby face was the proclamation of the first coming into the world; and the voice of many waters is the proclamation of Jesus Christ that is soon coming.” Repent and believe the Gospel, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Divine Healing!

Bro. J.A. Warren of Houston, Texas, relates his experience as follows: "I had suffered two years from chills and fever and could never get rid of them. I was down with them, when it was told to me that the Lord would heal us and wanted to do it without the help of medicine, so I made up my mind that I would not have another chill; that the Lord would heal me. My chill was to come on about seven o'clock in the morning. It started to come and I was about to call my people to put more cover over me, when I thought how I had taken the Lord for my healer. So I got up and dressed and would not let the devil bring a chill on me, but prepared for breakfast. When the ice wagon came along and my little grandchild called my attention to it, I started to say, 'No, I will not take ice for this is my chill day.' (I was in the habit of taking ice only on the day I had fever). Then I stopped myself and said, 'Yes, I will take ice,' and I drank ice water all day. I was healed and in two months had gained about twenty-five pounds in flesh."

The Whole Truth And Nothing But The Truth!

 

Jesus knew exactly waht He was saying to the Jews who believed in Him for a moment, but after He spoke the words, “IF you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Those Jews who had believed, turned on Him very quickly!!

In today's world, the truth has become subjective, it's your truth, or what you believe to be true. The lines have become blurred between the truth and a lie. Many don't know what it means to be deceived because they were never taught the truth in the first place!

Pontius Pilate said two thousand years ago, "what is truth." Jesus answered his question in:

John 17:14-19

"I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth."

Jesus is clearly saying that we can be made clean, holy, transformed, and righteous by the truth! What is truth? God's word IS TRUTH! So that means if you don't believe God's word then you live in deception, you live in a world full of lies and you accept what the world teaches you. 

That also means that when you hear the truth of God's word you immediately oppose it, and you don't want it, because if you accept it, then you would have to change the way you are currently thinking! Change your lifestyle, and change your whole way of being!

This is why God supernaturally preserved His word, so that His creation could know the truth and have the choice to OBEY His commands and the teachings of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ!

As Christians we have a moral compass, we have a lamp that guides our path, if we don't obey God's word, then can we expect to receive the blessings and promises of God? NO!

The time has come for the truth to be spoken, without fear of backlash from unbelievers and sinners, who care nothing about the truth of God's word, and don't want to change. The word tells us that men love darkness rather than the light, and will not come to the light, because they don't want their sins to be exposed!

This is why Jesus said, "Whosoever will, let them come," because He knew that many wouldn't come to Him! But He still spoke the truth to all, and gave everyone a chance to repent and come to a knowledge of the truth. 

There aren't very many who want to hear the truth about themselves! You have to really love the truth and desire to be different in a world designed to entrap souls. And anyone who doesn't want to engage in the pleasures of this world and become true disciples of Jesus, are called weird and brainwashed, etc......

Satan himself also has a part in all of this because he has the power to deceive the whole world and he also blinds the minds of unbelievers so that they remain deceived until the day they die!

2nd Corinthians 4:1-4

"Therefore, since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

The truth can and will make you free, IF you really want to be free! But you must be ready and willing to die to this world and everything in it!

3 Days Of Darkness!

 

My wife said she heard these words this monrning, "Three Days Of Darkness"

Multiple people have spoken the same thing for many decades, could the time of this prophecy be upon us?

Hard Decisions For ALL!

 

Why did Peter deny Jesus three time's even after he said he would follow Jesus to the death? The simple answer is that he wasn't ready in his heart and mind to face death for Jesus and likely for anyone else either!

It takes years of preparation, deliverance, maturity, and spiritual growth to be able to stand before an angry mob, religious leaders, or even government officials and say I love Jesus, I believe in the scriptures of the bible, and I stand for the truth contained therein. 

I was recently pondering, and said to my wife I wonder what the outcome would have been if Peter would have said, "Yes! I know Jesus, He's my best friend, I love Him, and He loves me!" Likely he wouldn't have been martyred because God had big plans in store for Peter, we know that today, but he didn't know that then!

In the same way, how about the rich young ruler? He had a hard decision to make too, didn't he?

Matthew 19:16-22

"Now behold, one came and said to Him, “Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?” So He said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ” The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept from my youth. What do I still lack?” Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions."

Even though Jesus said, it's hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God, I wonder how much the rich young ruler would have been blessed if he would have done what Jesus said! It may have been hard for him to obey, but not impossible!!!

The original twelve disciple Jesus called during the beginning of His ministry all had hard decisions to make.

Matthew 4:18-22

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him."

These disciples left their jobs, their homes, their family members, their spouses, and their old lifestyles behind to follow Jesus!

And likewise in the near future, every person on earth will have have to make a decision that will determine where their immortal soul resides for all eternity.

Revelation 13:15-17

"He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

Revelation 14:9-11

"Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Revelation 20:4

"And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years."

My People Are Destroyed For Lack Of Knowledge!

 

It's so sad to see how many professing Christians have no idea what's really going on in the spirit realm, and they are not being taught the truth by those that oversee them. Even those who pastor the Lord's sheep in many congregations across the world don't have the knowledge or wisdom from above to teach the people they lead!

It's truly as the Lord Jesus said in: Matthew 15:13-14

"But He answered and said, “Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted. Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.”

For instance, look at what satan (an evil, spirit being) is able to do.

Job 1:6-7

"Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and satan also came among them. And the Lord said to satan, “From where do you come?” So satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

So ask yourself this question. If satan is able to appear before the Lord God Himself on His throne in Heaven, and have a conversation, like you would have with your close friend or family member. Isn't he able to appear in your home, your job, the grocery store, the church building, the elementary school, the White House, the Synagogue, the Mosque, or where ever else he wants to appear? The answer is YES HE CAN!

And I do believe he already has, many times! He come's inside the bodies of mass murderers, suicide bombers, and wolves in sheep's clothing!

The scripture says clearly that satan was walking to and fro, back and forth, ON THE EARTH! 

He has done this for millenia! Another case in point is the Lord's Supper.

John 13:26-27

"Jesus answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon. Now after the piece of bread, Satan entered him. Then Jesus said to him, “What you do, do quickly.”

Take the above scripture literally, and meditate on it! The scripture clearly says, 'satan entered him', what does that mean? Exactly what it says! The evil being, the fallen angel, the devil, the serpent, the adversary, simply walked inside the body of Judas Iscariot and used it to betray Jesus! How is this possible?

Jesus said to His disciples, 'have I not chosen you the twelve, yet one of you is a devil', Judas was already a devil and an open door for satan to influence and use any time he wanted to! 

It's the same thing the Holy Spirit can do while indwelling true believers, He can lift up and use the body of a true Christian anytime He wants to for God's purposes!

A good cinematic illustration of this is in the first Matrix when Morpheus was showing Neo in the construct, how the agents could physically enter anybody at anytime, take them over and use their bodies for whatever purposes they wanted!

Notice how the scripture says, when Judas understood what he had done, he went and hanged himself!

Matthew 27:3-5

"Then Judas, His betrayer, seeing that He had been condemned, was remorseful and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, “I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? You see to it!” Then he threw down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself."

So do you see how much you can be influenced and USED by satan to do his will! 

This is why the body of Christ NEEDS all the ministry gifts that Jesus Himself gave to the church, and ALL the spiritual gifts of the Holy Spirit functioning in the body of Christ as God intended.

If we have the spiritual gifts, wisdom, knowledge, and the leading of God's Spirit, we will not be destroyed, and we will not be ignorant of the devil's schemes, and we will know when he's walking amongst us, because there will be spiritual discernment and the knowledge of God in daily operation!

Jesus Is The Blueprint!

 

1st John 2:3-6

"Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked."

Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE! Yet so many don't want to follow His Way, obey His Truth, or partake in His Life! 

Why is that you ask? Because many people don't want to CHANGE!!! They want it like Burger King, 'have it your way'!

Many say, 'this is what I believe', 'you have your walk, I have mine', 'this is what my pastor said', 'this is what leadership told me'. What happened to the scriptures? What happened to 2nd Timothy 3:16-17?

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man (or woman) of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Didn't Jesus say, 'If you love me, keep (you will keep/obey) my commands'? (John 14:15) So why aren't people following the blueprint? 

Do you know what happens when someone tries to build a building without a blueprint? Absolutely Nothing!!! Because you can't build a building without first drawing up a blueprint!!!!

Many apostolics, pentecostals and others overemphasize the doctrine of the apostles and their works, seemingly forgetting where they got their power and teaching from in the first place!

Who gave them the mysteries of the Kingdom? Who taught them wisdom from above? Who corrected them when they were wrong? Who gave them power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over ALL the power of the enemy? Who loved them until the end, even when they deserted Him? Who you ask? JESUS that's who!

Jesus is the Blueprint that all those who profess to be Christians should be following!

He told His disciples it is good enough for a servant to be like his Master. Who is your Master? The senior Pastor of your congregation? The Bishop? The Reverend? The Evangelist? The Prophet? The Pope? 

Matthew 10:24-25

“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household"

Even the gospel Jesus preached is the Blueprint! Why aren't ministers preaching what Jesus preached?

Matthew 4:12-17

"Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles: The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

Ok, let's break this down. The Light was inside Jesus, because He was God manifested in the flesh, He was baptized by immersion in water and the Spirit of God came down from Heaven and remained upon Him. So wherever Jesus was, there was light, there was the Kingdom of God, there was salvation and hope, there was forgiveness of sins.

Jesus went out to preach saying, 'Repent': Which means to change your mind and think differently, stop sinning, confess your sins and unrighteousness, denounce your old way of living and turn completely around and go the other way.

The Kingdom of Heaven/God is at hand: Meaning it's happening right now! And I (Jesus) have come to preach the good news, to give sight to the blind, to bind up the broken hearted, to set the captives free. 

What does gospel mean? Good News! And what is the good news of you ask? The Kingdom of God!!!!!

Jesus said in Matthew 24:13-14

"But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel (good news) of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come."

So when the good news of the Kingdom of God begins to be preached all over the world, you will know the end is near!

Jesus also gave the Blueprint to enter God's Kingdom in John 3:1-5

"There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born [a]again, (generated from above, is the original Greek translation) he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born (gennaó: to beget, to bring forth) of water, (Hudor: water the element) and the Spirit, (pneuma: wind, spirit, Holy Spirit) he cannot enter the kingdom of God."

This is why Jesus the Blueprint, gave His instructions to His apostles before He left the earth.

Matthew 28:18-20

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

And the apostles did exactly what they were taught all throughout the book of Acts! The apostles followed the Blueprint and turned the world upside down!!!!

It's time once more to go back to the BLUEPRINT! JESUS THE MESSIAH, THE SAVIOR OF  THE WORLD!!!

God Will Never Forsake Us!

 

Matthew 27:45-46

"Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour there was darkness over all the land. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

What does it mean to be 'forsaken'? "to renounce or turn away from entirely" (Meriam Webster)

"The Greek word for forsaken is ἐγκαταλείπω, which can mean to leave behind, to desert, to abandon, or to spare. It is used to express a feeling of being left in a condition of lack or helplessness. It is the word that Jesus used on the cross when he cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Strong's #1459)

Jesus would have never uttered those words and asked the question, IF He did not experience the separation and abandonment He felt when God His Father turned away from Him, because the sins of the world were upon Him! John the baptist himself said: "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"  (John 1:29)

This is how much God hates sin! And sin separates us from His presence!

Isaiah 59:1-2

"Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear."

But if Jesus had not willingly made this atoning sacrifice for us we would have no way to be reconciled back to our Creator!

So isn't it wonderful to know that God has promised US that He would never leave nor forsake us!!!

Hebrews 13:5

"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Matthew 28:18-20

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

We can take comfort and have hope in our darkest times that the Lord will be there with us no matter what we go through!!

The Lord Jesus was with Stephen when he was martyred.

Acts 7:54-56

"When they heard these things they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

Even in death the Lord is with those who love and obey Him!!!!

We Are ALL Human Beings!

 

Genesis 1:27

"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."

If we just understood who really are underneath this skin and bones that our souls walk around in, we would be living completely different than we do right now!

God created man from the dust of the earth and then blew into His creation and man became a living being!

Genesis 2:7

"And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

There is no superior "race" of human being on this earth! There are more intelligent people, richer people, different colors of people, smaller, taller, more attractive, etc........ but NOT superior!!!

It is men and women who join together, with the same erroneous thinking that separate themselves and form organizations, gated communities, etc..... and segregate themselves from the rest of humanity!

I praise God that we can be delivered from the lies of satan and wicked men by the blood of Jesus, the truth, and the power of the Holy Spirit! Some desire nothing else but to control and subjugate their fellow man with their evil thinking and ungodly ideologies!

From the inspired scriptures we learn that those who enter the Kingdom of God and the body of Christ should become one in faith, spirit, and mind! There is no Jew or Gentile in Christ!

Galatians 3:28

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus."

Paul, the Lord's apostle strived his whole ministry to help the saints be unified in the gospel, spirit, and mind!

Philippians 1:27

"Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God."

If you want deliverance from the lies of satan, evil spirits, and wicked men, come to the Lord Jesus Christ, He is the One who can set you free!

When The Mark Is Implemented!

 

The Covid 19 vaccinations were a pre-cursor to the implementation of the mark of the beast and his system.

"More than 5.55 billion people worldwide have received a dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, equal to about 72.3 percent of the world population. This map shows the stark gap between vaccination programs in different countries." Nytimes Vaccine Tracker

This helps us to understand how the whole world can receive the mark in a short amount of time. It took maybe eight months to a year, for over five billion people to be vaccinated and likely it will take around the same amount of time for people to receive the mark on their right hand or forehead.

Many billions will not accept the mark like they didn't accept the vaccinations, they claimed that they had a right to choose what happens to their bodies. The same thing will happen when the mark is implemented, but this time those who don't worship the image of the beast that will be set up or take his  mark will be killed! 

Revelation 13:15-17

"He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

It will also be reminiscent of Hitler and Nazi Germany when they rounded up Jewish people from all over Europe and killed six million of them in gas chambers. 

The scriptures tell us the second beast coming out of the earth, (commonly called the false prophet) causes ALL, small and great, rich and poor to receive the mark on their right hand or forehead.

That includes all your favorite rap artists, singers and entertainers, movie actors, politicians, etc... all the way down to the homeless man sleeping under a bridge!

You will not be able to buy anything at your local Walmart, or Target, not even a bar of chocolate at the corner store! The Lord told me awhile ago, the time that's coming, "Will Be Worse Than Your Worse Nightmare."

This is why God is going to pour out His Spirit one last time and bring a great revival to the world because the devil can't have everybody can he? If God didn't intervene, billions of people would be lost!

Jesus said that during these times, brother would betray brother to death, parents betraying children, and children betraying parents.

Mark 13:9-13

“But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils, and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony to them. And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations. But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved."

Imagine your own brother, or sister, father, or mother, telling the authorities on you because you became a Christian! Then they come to your house to arrest you for not taking the mark and eventually you get martyred for your faith in Jesus! Watching a biblical movie about the mark can't prepare your soul for the reality!

 Will you be ready when the beast is unleashed upon this world? His evil power will be so great that the whole world will worship him.

Revelation 13:7-8

"It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world."

Will you be ready for martydom because you refused to take the mark and worship the image of the beast? Will you be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego? Who refused to worship the image of  Nebuchadnezzar and were saved by God Himself!

Time is ticking, the hour is at hand, and the choice will be yours!

Lawlessness Is Abounding Right Now!

 

Matthew 24:12

"And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold."

There were 43,065 gun deaths in 2023, with more than 36,000 people injured. 

As of Feb. 15, 2024 at least 4,994 people have died from gun violence in the U.S. this year, according to the Gun Violence Archive – which is an average of about 108 deaths each day. Another 3,351 people have been injured.

There have now been 31,498 deaths and 58,988 injuries so far in 2024!

That means that there WILL be at least 10 to 12 thousand more people murdered this year!

There have also been 103,241 deaths and 199,134 injuries over the past five years!

And this is in the U.S. alone! Lawlessness is abounding everywhere!

These are very eye opening and shocking statistics to read, the death toll just from gun violence in America is almost more than the deaths of Palestinians and Israelis in the Gaza war!

So you can safely say that the streets of America are like a war zone!

The only hope we have in these times of Sodom and Gomorrah is Jesus!

He is the only One who can truly protect us and deliver us from evil in this world!

A Little Lower Than The Angels!

 

Psalm 8:3-5

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor."

Human beings are powerful!! We have the knowledge and technology to put people on the moon! Build Skyscrapers that touch the clouds! And even make nuclear weapons that can destroy the world!

Imagine, like John Lennon said: "Imagine all the people, living together as one", even the Lord Jesus Himself prayed for His chosen people to be one. 

Humans have so much ability to do good, and so much ability to do evil! People can gather together and burn down cities, or they can gather together to build cities!

This is why the devil fights so hard to keep all human beings separated, segregated, and hating one another, because he knows that unity brings power! Especially when humans all think the same way and have the same goals. 

We know that God Himself separated humanity during the time of the Tower of Babel being built, but now with language translation apps easily available on every Smartphone, even language is not a barrier anymore to humans on this earth!

This is also why the disciples in the first century were able to turn the whole world upside down! Because once a human being enters the Kingdom of God, his or her mind and heart begins to be cleansed of sin, corruption, demonic strongholds and filthyness of the flesh. 

A transformation occurs that begins to restore a man or woman to what God created men and women to be, LIKE HIM! This is why God commands us all to be Holy as HE IS HOLY!

So as disciples of Jesus if we come together as He commands us, then there is nothing that we could not accomplish if we set our hearts and minds to get it done!

I do believe the day is coming when we will be unified in the faith, and have all things in common like they had in the first century church. We will need all the mental and spiritual power we have to face the greatest evil that humans have faced since the world began, the man of sin, the Antichrist himself.

Prepare yourself the time is at hand!

A Change Is Gonna Come!

 

Luke 2:25-35

"And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law, he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: 

“Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation Which You have prepared before the face of all peoples, A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of Your people Israel.”

And Joseph and His mother marveled at those things which were spoken of Him. Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

When Jesus was born He was prophesied over by Simeon, who the Holy Spirit was upon. He spoke of the coming change that would happen in the world because of the birth of Jesus. He was destined to bring down religion and make a way for His disciples to rise up out of the traditions of man and the dictatorship of Ceasar Augustus.

The same thing is happening today, and in the midst of all the trouble that's going on worldwide, God will shine His great light once again and pour out His Spirit on those who are ready to be a part of this end-time change that will culminate in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ!

The stage is already set and the handwriting is on the wall. What has been prophesied thousands of years ago is coming to pass even as I write this blog post! Every day that passes brings us closer to the revealing of the man of sin and the last great outpouring of God's Spirit that will bring pockets of revival all over the world. 

The Lord told my wife, "The Small Will Be Great, And The Great Will Disappear". 

John the baptist quoted the Prophet Isaiah in Luke 3:2-6

"while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. And he went into all the region around the Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins, as it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, saying:

“The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight. Every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’ ”

What's coming is inevitable, unavoidable, and will change the world as we know it. Every soul on earth will have a choice to make, life or death, Heaven or Hell, God or satan.

As always, the choice is yours!

Judas Was A Devil?

 

John 6:66-71

From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. Then Jesus said to the twelve, “Do you also want to go away?” But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?” He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon, for it was he who would betray Him, being one of the twelve."

These scriptures continue to amaze me! The truths revealed in these few passages of scripture are so deep that you learn so much from meditating on them.

One thing comes to mind is that before Jesus chose these twelve men to be His apostles, (which is a higher calling than just a disciple), He went alone up in the mountains to pray, and He prayed all night long!

Luke 6:12-15

"Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God. And when it was day, He called His disciples to Himself; and from them He chose twelve whom He also named apostles: Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew; Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot; Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot who also became a traitor."

Who can know the ways of God? Why did the Father tell Jesus to choose a devil? A man that would go on to betray Him and cause Jesus to be taken by the Jews and Roman soldiers. The only answer I can think of is to fulfill His prophecies and His word.

This is why it's just so much better to humble ourselves and submit our souls to God because He is in complete control of ALL His creation! 

So Jesus knowing all things, had to choose His own betrayer, and love him, serve him, teach him, correct him, eat with him, sleep in the same house, and drink with him! Every single day for three and a half years! Jesus had to be so full of the Peace and Love of God for this to be possible. 

What human being on this earth would choose a man or woman they knew beforehand would betray them and cause them to be crucified? Especially after loving them and giving their all to see them brought into a saving relationship with God.

Yet this is exactly what Jesus did! For Judas Iscariot and For ALL of Humanity!

These scriptures should also help the religious people who think that just because they go to a church building two or three times a week, that they are Christians, Disicples, saved and righteous in the sight of God. This thought could't be further from the truth!

Judas was a devil every single moment of his time with Jesus, in the house, in the temple courts, on the street corner, in the fields, on the boat, when he slept, and when he woke up! It didn't matter where he went, or what he did, he was still a devil!

Religious people can put on a smile in the church building but have their hearts full of hate, pride and prejudice! Just like the Pharisees did!

Any devil can walk in a church building, sit down and make themselves comfortable, say amen, sing the songs, and walk out of the building more a son of hell than when they went in!!!

This truth is super spiritual, this is why the word tells us that the evil will get worse and worse, but the righteous will become more righteous still! Isn't that amazing, how it's possible to grow more evil and wicked or righteous and holy, throughout ones life? I think so!

2nd Timothy 3:13, Revelation 22:11

"But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived."

"He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.”

The righteous and the wicked will have to live together until Jesus returns, which one will you be?

Guard Your Heart!

 

Proverbs 4:23

"Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life."

The bible talks about the heart so much from Genesis to Revelation, God our Creator wants us to understand that the heart (inner, spiritual one), not the organ, is the most important part of a human soul. 

God Himself said to His prophet Samuel in 1st Samuel 16:5-7

"And he said, “Peaceably; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons, and invited them to the sacrifice. So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord’s anointed is before Him!”

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

I can tell you from my own life, that if your heart is hard for whatever the reason, it will keep you from truly loving anybody, even your own self! A hard heart will also keep you from receiving love from others as well. Eveything will just be 'meh', and 'whatever', when people do their best to love you and help you. 

Jesus said that out of the heart the mouth speaks!

Matthew 12:33-35

“Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things."

Matthew 15:16-19

"So Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies."

Jesus made it so clear for us to understand how important it is to have a clean and pure heart!

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God!"

No Man Can Come To Me!

 

John 6:41-44, 64-65

"The Jews then complained about Him, because He said, “I am the bread which came down from heaven.” And they said, “Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down from heaven’?” Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day."

"But there are some of you who do not believe.” For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

I can remember when I was drawn by God to my wife. We met on Christian Cupid dot com, when it was still a bit taboo to meet someone online, let alone date them. How fast times have changed right? Now if you're not on the internet you're seen as strange! 

It's amazing to me how some people can see the light and others can not. Some feel led to change their lives and be different, others feel the same leading but don't respond to it. They turn their backs on God, they blank out and walk away, and many don't feel anything at all!

Those who do come to Christ always have a testimony of what God did for them, how he drew them to Himself, or what they were doing when something happened they couldn't explain. Many cry out to God and say, 'God if you are real then do this or that and I will believe.' 

The first disciples Jesus called were drawn to Him because it was granted to them by the Father in Heaven!

Matthew 4:18-22

"And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him."

How is it possible that Jesus being a total stranger to these four fishermen, could call them out of their jobs, their family, their lifestyles, and they listened! The scriptures tell us that the four men IMMEDIATELY left their nets, their boats, their jobs, even their own father and followed Jesus!

That is a perfect example of what it means to be drawn by God!

The same thing happened when John the baptist started calling the people to repentance. The scriptures say that people came from all around to be baptized by John. How was that possible, John being another total stranger coming out of the desert?

Mark 1:1-8

"The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. As it is written in the Prophets: “Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before You.” “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ”

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. Then all the land of Judea, and those from Jerusalem, went out to him and were all baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins."

People of the whole land of Judea and Jerusalem went out to him! And then they got baptized and while they were being baptized, they were confessing their sins, outloud! No secret chambers, no priest in a box, no church building! The people were out in the open air confessing their sins and getting baptized by John in the Jordan River!! That's what you call a supernatural drawing and manifestation of the power of God working through His prophet!!!

Something similar happened to Paul too when he was preaching.

Acts 16:11-15

"Therefore, sailing from Troas, we ran a straight course to Samothrace, and the next day came to Neapolis, and from there to Philippi, which is the foremost city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city for some days. And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

You see that the Lord had to OPEN THE HEART of Lydia so that she could listen to what paul was saying! The word of God being spoken through His anointed and appointed is spiritual, it can't be understood by those with carnal minds and hard hearts! 

What about the other women who were there? We see that God only opened the heart of Lydia to understand Paul's message, and then she and her whole household were baptized! The ways of God and His choosing is beyond our understanding, only He knows the hearts of all men!

This is why it's so important to pray for the Father to open your heart, and your mind so that you can be drawn to Christ and receive Him when He comes to visit you!

The Time Of Hirelings And Hypocrites Is Ending!

 

God said my people perish for lack of knowledge! God's people also perish because of the lack of spiritual discernment too! But God allows all of this to happen to fulfill His word!

Paul said that there must be factions among you, so it can be revealed who is approved of God! And then Paul had to deal with false brethren and false Apostles too! This all happened two thousand years ago and the same thing is happening right now! History repeats itself, over and over.

1st Corinthians 11:17-19

"Now in giving these instructions I do not praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse. For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. For there must also be factions among you, that those who are approved may be recognized among you."

Galatians 2:1-5

"Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me.  And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain. Yet not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised. And this occurred because of false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

2nd Corinthians 11:12-15

"But what I do, I will also continue to do, that I may cut off the opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to be regarded just as we are in the things of which they boast. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."

This is why I continue to say over and over, that the church building IS NOT THE CHURCH! If you have a group of witches inside a church building, what will the building be full of? EVIL and DARKNESS!

If you have a church building full of true believers filled with the Spirit and Grace of God, what will you have? A building full of Light, God's presence, angels coming and going, people rejoicing and praising God!

The same holds true for your own house! Your house is just a building, and if you are full of darkness and evil spirits, what will your house be full of? EVIL! Even though you cannot perceive it or feel it, because it's spiritual! Unless you actually practice witchcraft in your house, then you will most likely see the evil spirits manifesting!

This is also why Jesus said beware of the wolve's in sheep's clothing! And the Hirelings, because many times they are the ones over the people! 

Matthew 7:15-20

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them."

John 10:11-13

“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep."

So if you are sitting in a congregation that never grows, and there's no youth attending who are thriving and full of joy, you have to question the fruit of your leadership!

The man or woman who thinks that being in Ministry is a job that pays their bills and supports their lifestyle is a hireling! And if you woke up one morning and felt led to go to school to be a Pastor, you need to question whether or not you are really in the faith! There is nowhere in scripture that you see any man or woman being led to an institution to learn how to be an Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Teacher, or Evangelist!

No man, woman, college, online or physical, can ordain, anoint and appoint any soul to be in the ministry of God, but God!!!

It's Jesus, the Lord Himself who gives ministry gifts to His body for edification and building up!

Ephesians 4:7-16

"But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. Therefore He says: “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, And gave gifts to men.” (Now this, “He ascended”—what does it mean but that He also first descended into the lower parts of the earth? He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."

The scriptures in Ephesians 4 tells us what the real church should be! It tells us how God designed and desires His church (souls) to operate and function together as the body of Christ, in the midst of all the evil surrounding us everyday!

Without unity, without the Spirit of God in every soul, and without the ministry gifts that Jesus gave to the church, what do we have? A congregation full of hirelings, hypocrites, and evil! 

As Disciples of Jesus we cannot escape this world or the evil that's in it, we must live and grow together with the tares until the final Harvest! The only thing we can do is trust our God and come out from among them and be separate in our hearts and minds!

Matthew 13:24-30

"Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.” ’ ”

The Lord Himself spoke to my wife and said, "The Small Will Be Great, And The Great Will Disappear"
