How Will You Respond When God Comes Down?
You have to understand that the human mind cannot really grasp supernatural and spiritual occurrences happening on a daily basis. To read about these things in the bible are one thing but to experience them in the natural is completely another!
When God descended upon Mount Sinai the scripture tells us.
Exodus 19:16-18, 20:18-21
"Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly."
"Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off. Then they said to Moses, “You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.” And Moses said to the people, “Do not fear; for God has come to test you, and that His fear may be before you, so that you may not sin.” So the people stood afar off, but Moses drew near the thick darkness where God was."All we have today is movies to help us visualize what it could have been like in reality, but when you experience something like this in the physical realm and see it up close and personal it WILL affect and CHANGE you in some way, at the very least you will know there is a supernatural LIVING GOD and Creator of Heaven and Earth who dwells in another dimension from our own and at the appointed times He intervenes in the lives of His creation and comes down to help His people.
When God came down after Adam and Eve sinned, what did they do? They ran and hid themselves in the trees!
When God came down in the flesh as Jesus the Christ, the word tells us in John 1:11
"He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him."
