Did Jesus Tell YOU, To Go And Make Disciples?

Matthew 28:16-20

"Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

In the above passages of scripture Jesus is telling His eleven disciples, (they had also been chosen to be His apostles) to go (a command) and make disciples (a learner of Jesus) of ALL the nations, BAPTIZING them in the NAME of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (JESUS). Then Jesus told them to TEACH those disciples to observe ALL THINGS that He commanded them!

Now why don't we see this ministry pattern that Jesus Himself set, being done today? Let me tell you why, THE TRADITIONS OF MAN HAVE NULLIFIED THE COMMANDS OF GOD!

Here's another question: Was Jesus telling every believer in the first century to go and make disciples of all nations? And how about every believer today? The answer to both of those questions is NO!

So why do most believers today think they have to go out and make disciples or share their faith etc..? Let me tell you why, BECAUSE OF THE TRADITIONS OF MAN!

Jesus (God) Himself CALLED twelve men and said "Come Follow ME, And I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN". Nowhere in scripture do we see any apostle or minister of God going to any school to learn how to be a pastor! But yet that's what we see today and it has become the norm!

Today, ministry has become a business venture, and a career choice, not a calling and preparation by God to be used by Him to do HIS will. This is why people are mocking Jesus and Christians today, calling them hypocrites, even unbelievers can see that many professing Christians don't obey the teachings of Jesus, or practice what they preach!

Sadly, these words of Jesus can be applied to many of those who profess to be pastors and ministers of God.

Matthew 15:7-9

"Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy about you, saying: ‘These people draw near to Me with their mouth, And honor Me with their lips, But their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men."

In the first century the apostles were led by the Spirit to do God's will, to preach, heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead. They were called, chosen, and sent by God to do the ministry works of Jesus and it was the Lord Himself who added to their number, the apostles were willing vessels of God's glory and Spirit on this earth.

Acts 2:40-47

"And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."

The day is coming again when the true apostles and prophets of the Lord will be sent out walking in the glory, love, and resurrection power of Jesus Christ! And the day is coming again when the saints of God will gather together and the gospel of the kingdom will be preached with the fire and anointing of the Spirit of God! They will once again be unified in the faith with ALL things in common and the Great I AM will perform mighty signs and wonders through HIS chosen vessels to prepare the way for the soon coming KING!!!

FULFILLED

I was awoken at 12:35am today by the Holy Spirit with this word on my head like if they were spoken in my mind: FULFILLED and then it came this passage of Matthew 5.

Matthew 5:17-18

Do not think that I came to annul the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.

To fulfill in Greek-English

4137. pleroo play-ro'-o from 4134; to make replete, i.e. (literally) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (figuratively) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.:--accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfill, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

The Law or the Prophets refers to the Book of the Law - The Torah and the writings of the Prophets. The Book of the Law contains 613 commandments. It was to this that Christ said, “one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

The Law and the Prophets were fulfilled at the moment the veil was rent in twain from top to bottom and Christ cried with a loud voice, “IT IS FINISHED!”

Man could not be justified by obedience to the law of Moses (Acts 13:39-And everyone believing in this One is justified from all things which you could not be justified by the Law of Moses ; Romans. 3:20 - Because by works of law no flesh will be justified before Him-for through law is full knowledge of sin) or by any legal system which conditioned salvation upon perfect obedience. However, the law did serve its purpose. It brought a knowledge of sin (Rom. 3:20; Romans 7:7- What, then, shall we say? Is the law sin? Let it not be! Bit I did not know sin except through law; for also I did not know lust except the law said, You shall not lust.). It pointed mankind to the coming Messiah (Galatians 3:24- So that the Law has become a trainer of us until Christ, that we might be justified by faith. ; Romans 10:3 - For being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.).

I pray you may be blessed by this short message and that you do not try to be justified by anything you do, but by faith in Jesus Christ, for NOBODY can come to the Father except through His only begotten son Jesus Christ.

Cynthia

Coracoes Orgulhosos e Ouvidos Fechados!

This message can also be found in English on August 26th, 2011

Efesios 5:3-7

Mas a prostituição, e toda sorte de impureza ou cobiça, nem sequer se nomeie entre vós, como convém a santos, 4 nem baixeza, nem conversa tola, nem gracejos indecentes, coisas essas que não convêm; mas antes ações de graças. 5 Porque bem sabeis isto: que nenhum devasso, ou impuro, ou avarento, o qual é idólatra, tem herança no reino de Cristo e de Deus. 6 Ninguém vos engane com palavras vãs; porque por estas coisas vem a ira de Deus sobre os filhos da desobediência. 7 Portanto não sejais participantes com eles;

Hebreus 2:1-4

Proverbios 16:18

18 A soberba precede a destruição, e a altivez do espírito precede a queda.

Romanos 13:11-14

That's My KING!!!

Revelation 19:11-16

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS."

The Great Apostasy - David Wilkerson

"When the word of God comes forth in it's power and unction, it'll do one of two things, it'll either break you or harden you." (David Wilkerson)

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

"Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God."

A Syrian Strike By America?

Could this be the match that lights the fire of end time wars? And starts the chain of events that will lead us into the great tribulation and the Second Coming of Jesus?

"Starting this fire will be like a spark in a large store of gunpowder, with unclear and unspecified outcomes and consequences," Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei told Iranian Cabinet members in Tehran on Wednesday." (CNN)

Isaiah 17:1

The burden against Damascus. “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap."

Word From The Lord

The Lord said to me this morning: "The Great Outpouring"

Joel 2:28-32

“And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the Lord has said, Among the remnant whom the Lord calls."
