Jeremiah 7

Yesterday I (Cynthia) was in prayer and the Lord gave me the book of Jeremiah chapter 7 to read and meditate and this is exactly what is to come in these last days. Prepare yourself for much harder days are ahead.

Jeremiah 7

New King James Version (NKJV)

Trusting in Lying Words

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying, 2 “Stand in the gate of the Lord’s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, ‘Hear the word of the Lord, all you of Judah who enter in at these gates to worship the Lord!’” 3 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 4 Do not trust in these lying words, saying, ‘The temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord are these.’

5 “For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, 6 if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, 7 then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

8 “Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. 9 Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, 10 and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’? 11 Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the Lord.

12 “But go now to My place which was in Shiloh, where I set My name at the first, and see what I did to it because of the wickedness of My people Israel. 13 And now, because you have done all these works,” says the Lord, “and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear, and I called you, but you did not answer, 14 therefore I will do to the house which is called by My name, in which you trust, and to this place which I gave to you and your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15 And I will cast you out of My sight, as I have cast out all your brethren—the whole posterity of Ephraim.

16 “Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you. 17 Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 18 The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger. 19 Do they provoke Me to anger?” says the Lord. “Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces?”

20 Therefore thus says the Lord God: “Behold, My anger and My fury will be poured out on this place—on man and on beast, on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground. And it will burn and not be quenched.”

21 Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: “Add your burnt offerings to your sacrifices and eat meat. 22 For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices. 23 But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be My people. And walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you.’ 24 Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. 25 Since the day that your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have even sent to you all My servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them. 26 Yet they did not obey Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck. They did worse than their fathers.
27 “Therefore you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not obey you. You shall also call to them, but they will not answer you.

Judgment on Obscene Religion

28 “So you shall say to them, ‘This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the Lord their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth. 29 Cut off your hair and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the desolate heights; for the Lord has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’ 30 For the children of Judah have done evil in My sight,” says the Lord. “They have set their abominations in the house which is called by My name, to pollute it. 31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, nor did it come into My heart.

32 “Therefore behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “when it will no more be called Tophet, or the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter; for they will bury in Tophet until there is no room. 33 The corpses of this people will be food for the birds of the heaven and for the beasts of the earth. And no one will frighten them away. 34 Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Jerusalem the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall be desolate.

Are Judgments On You?

Matthew 7:1-5

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye."

These scriptures are some of the most convicting found in the New Testament and if you profess to be a Christian, but go around looking at the speck's in your brother or sister's eye, and passing judgment upon them, you can know with all certainty that the truth Jesus spoke right here will be applied to you!

The Greek definition of the word 'judge' used here is:

2919. krino kree'-no properly, to distinguish, i.e. decide (mentally or judicially); by implication, to try, condemn, punish:--avenge, conclude, condemn, damn, decree, determine, esteem, judge, go to (sue at the) law, ordain, call in question, sentence to, think.

The quickest way to bring judgment upon yourself is to judge somebody else with unrighteous judgment and condemn them for something they did wrong or for the words they spoke.

Paul writes a strong admonishment for those who judge others.

Romans 2:1-4

"Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?"

James 4:11-12

"Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?

Jesus said in Matthew 12:36-37

"But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

Condemned means:

2613. katadikazo kat-ad-ik-ad'-zo from 2596 and a derivative of 1349; to adjudge against, i.e. pronounce guilty:--condemn.

Those who are saints of God shouldn't even let one corrupt word come out of their mouths!

Ephesians 4:29

"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers."

There are also many examples in scripture of the judgments of God, but let's take a look at how God brings His judgments on a few individuals.

First case in point, king Saul. He was anointed by Samuel to be the first king of the children of Israel, but after rebellion against God the kingdom was torn from him and given to David. Because of Saul's disobedience to the direct commands of God, the Lord sent an evil spirit upon him (judgment), and he was eventually killed in battle.

1st Samuel 16:14-23

"But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him. And Saul’s servants said to him, “Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you. Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.” So Saul said to his servants, “Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.” Then one of the servants answered and said, “Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the LORD is with him.” Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.” And Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and a young goat, and sent them by his son David to Saul. So David came to Saul and stood before him. And he loved him greatly, and he became his armorbearer. Then Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.” And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him."

Another case of God's judgment was on the king of Assyria Sennacherib, who sent his messenger to Jerusalem speaking boastful false words against Hezekiah, and the people of Jerusalem, he also spoke blasphemies against God. Sennacherib, through his messenger offered the people a bargain to make peace with him. (Read Isaiah 36)

Isaiah 37:1-7

"And so it was, when King Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD. Then he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz. And they said to him, “Thus says Hezekiah: ‘This day is a day of trouble and rebuke and blasphemy; for the children have come to birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth. It may be that the LORD your God will hear the words of the Rabshakeh, whom his master the king of Assyria has sent to reproach the living God, and will rebuke the words which the LORD your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.’” So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah. And Isaiah said to them, “Thus you shall say to your master, ‘Thus says the LORD: “Do not be afraid of the words which you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed Me. Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.”’”

Here a few examples of God's judgments in the New Testament.

Acts 5:1-11

"But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.” Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things."

Acts 13:6-12

"Now when they had gone through the island to Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus, who was with the proconsul, Sergius Paulus, an intelligent man. This man called for Barnabas and Saul and sought to hear the word of God. But Elymas the sorcerer (for so his name is translated) withstood them, seeking to turn the proconsul away from the faith. Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently at him and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways of the Lord? And now, indeed, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a time.” And immediately a dark mist fell on him, and he went around seeking someone to lead him by the hand. Then the proconsul believed, when he saw what had been done, being astonished at the teaching of the Lord."

2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

God's judgment is real and it comes upon nations and people; many bring judgment upon themselves. If you have ever judged anyone or spoken evil against a brother or sister in Christ, you need to repent. If you are experiencing confusion of the mind, distress, fear, anxiety, delusion, bouts of uncontrollable anger etc.. you may have the judgments of God upon you. Pray to the Lord if this is happening in your life and ask Him why you are experiencing these things and when He answers act accordingly!

I pray this message has enlightened and edified you.

The Boat Will Shake

The Peace of the Lord Jesus Christ to His Precious Chosen Church,

Tonight I had a very interesting dream. I was inside a boat and this boat belonged to my real father (who is not alive anymore), but I knew he was representing God in the boat. There were many other people in the boat who I did not know in the dream. Suddenly, the boat started shaking as if it was in a very huge storm, but I did not see any rain though. While the boat was shaking, I remember to have seen an impure object, an object which people used as an addition to their sexual lives. Then, my father looked at me and said: "This is necessary to happen to stretch the people in it, make them right with God". I understood that he looked at me to explain to me that because of all the impurities of the people, the boat needed to be shaken for the people to get right with God.

Then, when I was praying about this dream, I opened the scriptures in Nahum 3 which is titled: "The Woe of Nineveh", but I felt in my heart the Lord speaking about the United States of America and I really believe the Lord is giving further information of what is going to happen in America as well through this book and chapter. Read the whole chapter below and after that, read the explanation of this chapter that I found on google which clarifies the whole chapter:

Nahum 3
The Woe of Nineveh
1 Woe to the bloody city!
It is all full of lies and robbery.
Its victim never departs.
2 The noise of a whip
And the noise of rattling wheels,
Of galloping horses,
Of clattering chariots!
3 Horsemen charge with bright sword and glittering spear.
There is a multitude of slain,
A great number of bodies,
Countless corpses

They stumble over the corpses
4 Because of the multitude of harlotries of the seductive harlot,
The mistress of sorceries,
Who sells nations through her harlotries
,
And families through her sorceries.
5“ Behold, I am against you,” says the LORD of hosts;
“ I will lift your skirts over your face,
I will show the nations your nakedness,
And the kingdoms your shame.
6 I will cast abominable filth upon you,
Make you vile,
And make you a spectacle.
7 It shall come to pass that all who look upon you
Will flee from you, and say,
‘ Nineveh is laid waste!
Who will bemoan her?’
Where shall I seek comforters for you?”
8 Are you better than No Amon[a]
That was situated by the River,[b]
That had the waters around her,
Whose rampart was the sea,
Whose wall was the sea?
9 Ethiopia and Egypt were her strength,
And it was boundless;
Put and Lubim were your[c] helpers.
10 Yet she was carried away,
She went into captivity;
Her young children also were dashed to pieces
At the head of every street;
They cast lots for her honorable men,
And all her great men were bound in chains.
11 You also will be drunk;
You will be hidden;
You also will seek refuge from the enemy. 12 All your strongholds are fig trees with ripened figs:
If they are shaken,
They fall into the mouth of the eater.
13 Surely, your people in your midst are women!
The gates of your land are wide open for your enemies;
Fire shall devour the bars of your gates.
14 Draw your water for the siege!
Fortify your strongholds!
Go into the clay and tread the mortar!
Make strong the brick kiln!
15 There the fire will devour you,
The sword will cut you off;
It will eat you up like a locust.
Make yourself many—like the locust!
Make yourself many— like the swarming locusts!
16 You have multiplied your merchants more than the stars of heaven.
The locust plunders and flies away.
17 Your commanders are like swarming locusts,
And your generals like great grasshoppers,
Which camp in the hedges on a cold day;
When the sun rises they flee away,
And the place where they are is not known.
18 Your shepherds slumber, O king of Assyria;
Your nobles rest in the dust.
Your people are scattered on the mountains,
And no one gathers them.
19 Your injury has no healing,
Your wound is severe.
All who hear news of you
Will clap their hands over you,
For upon whom has not your wickedness passed continually?

Some explanation of Nahum 3 for further understanding:

In these verses, Nahum curses (says that evil things will happen to) Assyria. He says that trouble will come because they killed people (blood). And because they said things that were not true (lies). And because they stole things.Then, in verses 2 and 3, he describes the battle that will happen. His words here do not make sentences. Instead, they make sounds like what happens.

· the ‘crack’ (sharp sound) of a whip,
· the ‘rattle’ (sound of wood when it hits wood) of *chariot wheels,
· the ‘gallop’ (sound of their feet on the ground) of horses,
· the ‘scream’ (like someone who is crying) of the *chariots,
· and so on.

Chariots were carts that horses pulled. Soldiers rode in them. There will be dead bodies everywhere. And in verse 4, Nahum gives the reason. Nineveh is like a harlot. A harlot is a woman that has sex with a man for money. Nahum means this as a picture. Because people pay taxes to Nineveh (Assyria), Nineveh does not hurt them. But he also says that Nineveh uses magic. God’s rules do not allow this. Today we do not use the word magic. We say ‘occult’ instead. This means to let evil *spirits do things for and by means of us. But, in verse 5, God says ‘I am against you’. He will make Nineveh like a naked woman. This again is a picture. It means this: People will see Nineveh’s people and Assyria’s people as they really are. They are very evil and wicked.

Verses 8-10 tell us about when soldiers destroyed Thebes. Thebes was a city in Egypt. Soldiers from Assyria destroyed it in 663 *B.C. It had the River Nile to defend it. Thebes had the people from Put and Libya to help it. But Assyria still destroyed Egypt.

Verses 11-19 tell Assyria that it will be like Egypt. Someone will destroy Assyria.

In verses 11-13, there are three pictures:

a) Nineveh will be like a drunk. It (its people) will run away and hide.

b) Nineveh will be like a ripe fig tree. Figs were fruits. When someone shook the tree, the ripe figs fell off.

Enemies will beat Assyria when someone shakes the tree. That means ‘when someone attacks it’.

c) Nineveh’s soldiers will be like women. This means that they will not be as strong as men. So, its enemies will destroy Nineveh.

Again, Nahum tells Nineveh to prepare itself for the attack. In verse 14, God tells Nineveh to:

a) make sure that there is enough water in the city,

b) make its castles strong. (They might have to get more cement from the ground in order to do this.)

In verses 15-17, there are grasshoppers and locusts. Grasshoppers are insects. Locusts are big grasshoppers. Millions of them flew into countries that we read about in the Bible. They ate everything green. They left nothing for the people to eat. God tells Assyria to multiply like these grasshoppers. Someone will still destroy it. It can have as many merchants as there are stars. Someone will still destroy it. The officials of Assyria will give no help. When trouble comes, nobody will find them. They will fly away like locusts on a hot day!

When I started meditating in the explanation of this chapter, it started coming to my mind as a movie the things that are going on in America

- The murder of Osama Bin Laden
- The flood of the Mississipi River
- The earthquakes shaking many places
- The greedy in making money at any cost
- The seeking of the occult and the serving of other gods
- Abortions being done due to the lusts of the flesh

There are many abominations to the eyes of the Lord and He is bringing all the proud low to the ground and He is carving His staff on the ground to bring His righteousness and justice, for He is holy and He is the judge of everything that the eye can or cannot see! He knows them all!

The Lord is still calling people at this last hour for repentance while there is still time, He has been calling thousands of people througout this nation through many people, sources and resources in order to bring people to worship Him and give them the chance to repent, confess their sins and serve Him.

If you are still living a life of sin, today is the day that the Lord has made for you to change your mind and turn all your ways to Him and accept Him as your Lord and Savior and let Him be number one in your life. You do not have more time, repent today! Tomorrow can be very late!

If you are serving the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, it is time to get on your knees, pray, shout, make supplications and fast for your souls and for whoever the Lord puts in your hearts for the protection and guidance of the Almighty God for all that He is bringing as judgement to this nation.

I hope this word can edify your soul and remember that the Master is in the boat of those who worship Him in spirit and truth,

In Christ,

Multitudes Gone

I heard this word from the Lord this morning: "Multitudes Will Be Gone", "Lost"

Isaiah 2:19-21

"They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. In that day a man will cast away his idols of silver And his idols of gold, Which they made, each for himself to worship, To the moles and bats, To go into the clefts of the rocks, And into the crags of the rugged rocks, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily."

God's Judgements

I would like to share some words with those who have ears to hear the truth about God's judgements, because I know there are many who close their ears for this subject, they can close the ears now, but their eyes will not be closed to see this reality coming from God.

Some days ago, I was praying about all the christians and unbelievers that are definitely NOT aware of all these things that are coming to the earth and many things that are already happening and I was having a conversation with God about it. I was asking the Lord how He was feeling about all this and I also said in my prayer that it should be very hard for Him to have to send His judgements to the earth and also He should be very sad with all these iniquities and disobedience and this is the word I heard from the Holy Spirit:

Jeremiah 9:24-25

Thus says the LORD: “ Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.

These words were for me a revelation of God at that moment because I was thinking He was sad and all that, and He said these things were a "delight" for Him for He delights in lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness.

Psalm 147:11 - The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him,In those who hope in His mercy.

Proverbs 11:20 - Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, But the blameless in their ways are His delight.

Psalm 7:11 - God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psalm 9:8 - He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.

Psalm 75:7 - But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.

Psalm 96:13 - For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

Psalm 110:6 - He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.

Revelation 20:13 - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

John 9:31 - Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Proverbs 10:2 - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.

Proverbs 11:19 - As righteousness leads to life, So he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.

So, we see clearly that there are books where all the works we do in this earth are being written down and we all are going to be judged by what we do and nothing is hidden at the sight of the Lord! Let us walk in righteousness by the power of the Holy Spirit in this corrupt generation for our reward is sure! Let us fear the Lord and obey His commands and be blameless in Christ for He is coming back for an unspotted and unblemished bride.

May this message encourage you to walk in righteousness and blameless in the Lord's presence and if you are not walking like this yet, repent , confess your sins, turn your ways to the Lord, obey His commands, be baptized in waters and receive the promise of the Holy Spirit of God in order to be a child of the Most High God!

With much love in Christ,
Cynthia R. Palmer
