Make The Right Choice!

Joshua 24:14-15

“Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord! And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

I've learned so much over these last few years, and I haven't been posting as many messages as I once did, mainly because I needed to put into practice all the spiritual principles I have learned and the foundational teachings of Jesus Christ. Like love your neighbor as yourself, love your enemies, etc... principles that are much easier said than done, because how can you truly love your brother, your enemy, your neighbor, even God Himself if you don't have genuine love in your heart?

You may be able to do it in your flesh for some time, but eventually there will be issues that arise that will test your soul and you will find out exactly who you really are. It's all about choices, will you choose to obey God and do what is right? Be built up in your faith as you live a daily life for Christ, taking up your cross and following Him everyday, or will you choose your flesh and the pleasures of this world?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego had a choice to make when King Nebuchadnezzar erected a sixty cubit (90 foot!) idol statue of gold and commanded all the people of the provinces to fall down and worship the gold image.

Daniel 3:4-6,13-18

"Then a herald cried aloud: “To you it is commanded, O peoples, nations, and languages, that at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall fall down and worship the gold image that King Nebuchadnezzar has set up; and whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.”

"Then Nebuchadnezzar, in rage and fury, gave the command to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. So they brought these men before the king. Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying to them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the gold image which I have set up? Now if you are ready at the time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music, and you fall down and worship the image which I have made, good! But if you do not worship, you shall be cast immediately into the midst of a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you from my hands?”

"Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.”

The three men of God made the right choice! They knew that God was ABLE to deliver them and said to the King, but if He does not, we don't serve your gods nor will we worship the gold statue that you have set up. Their faith, trust, and relationship to God gave them the ability to stand up to the King, even though he was enraged and full of fury, which I can imagine was a very fearful sight, but not to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego! The Lord blessed their faith and trust in Him and delivered them in a mighty way!

Peter had a choice to make when faced with questions of whether or not he was a disciple of Jesus.

Matthew 26:69-75

"Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.” But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.” And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.” But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!” And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your speech betrays you.” Then he began to curse and swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!” Immediately a rooster crowed. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly."

Peter made the wrong choices and he had three chances to get it right! Obviously he was not ready in his soul to stand with Jesus and proclaim the truth of his relationship to Jesus. Who knows what was going through Peter's mind at the time, fear of death, shame, self preservation?

If he didn't deny Jesus three times would he have been taken and crucified with Jesus? Or perhaps the Lord would have protected him and blessed him because of his faith and allegiance? Thank God for His love and mercy because He forgives us and remembers that we were formed from the dust of the earth. Jesus forgave Peter for denying Him and ended up using Peter greatly to preach his gospel to the Jews and to do mighty works by His power in Jesus name.

The time is near for the last days saints to take their stand as well, against the man of sin and the false prophet. The scriptures tell us that many Christians will become martyrs for Jesus because they will not worship the beast and his image.

Revelation 20:4-6

"And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years."

What choice will you make? Your immortal soul depends on it!

Judgment Begins At The House Of God!

The Lord said to me this morning: "Everyone Who Wants To Come Under My Judgment Must Be Chastened"

The Holy Spirit has been teaching me over the past few months about the judgment and chastening of the Lord. Many Christians don't truly understand why God judges, disciplines, or chastens them and why His judgment comes upon a nation, but this is what God does to correct, train, humble, and bring His people to repentance.

1st Peter 4:17-18

"For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? Now “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”

These are very sobering words from Peter and the Lord is judging His house today!

Isaiah 26:9,16

"With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness."

"LORD, in trouble they have visited You, They poured out a prayer when Your chastening was upon them."

Hebrews 12:3-11

"For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it."

Jesus tells us in Revelation 3:19

"As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent."

This is the way of the Lord, He judges, rebukes, and chastens those He loves!

Let's take a look at the Greek definition of the word 'rebuke'

1651. elegcho el-eng'-kho of uncertain affinity; to confute, admonish:--convict, convince, tell a fault, rebuke, reprove.

Merriam Webster's definition says:

a: to criticize sharply : reprimand

We see an example of a rebuke in Matthew 16:21-23

"From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.”

The word 'chasten' means:

3811. paideuo pahee-dyoo'-o from 3816; to train up a child, i.e. educate, or (by implication), discipline (by punishment):--chasten(-ise), instruct, learn, teach.

The word 'judgment' means:

2917. krima kree'-mah from 2919; a decision (the function or the effect, for or against ("crime")):--avenge, condemned, condemnation, damnation, + go to law, judgment.

The Lord judges His people and the world that we may all learn righteousness. He chastens us so that we may be partakers of His holiness, and He rebukes us when we are in error. These are a few of the ways God loves His sons and daughters. May we all humble ourselves under His mighty right hand and receive the judgments and chastisement of the Lord that our souls may be ready for the return of the King!

God's Judgements

I would like to share some words with those who have ears to hear the truth about God's judgements, because I know there are many who close their ears for this subject, they can close the ears now, but their eyes will not be closed to see this reality coming from God.

Some days ago, I was praying about all the christians and unbelievers that are definitely NOT aware of all these things that are coming to the earth and many things that are already happening and I was having a conversation with God about it. I was asking the Lord how He was feeling about all this and I also said in my prayer that it should be very hard for Him to have to send His judgements to the earth and also He should be very sad with all these iniquities and disobedience and this is the word I heard from the Holy Spirit:

Jeremiah 9:24-25

Thus says the LORD: “ Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.

These words were for me a revelation of God at that moment because I was thinking He was sad and all that, and He said these things were a "delight" for Him for He delights in lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness.

Psalm 147:11 - The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him,In those who hope in His mercy.

Proverbs 11:20 - Those who are of a perverse heart are an abomination to the LORD, But the blameless in their ways are His delight.

Psalm 7:11 - God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psalm 9:8 - He shall judge the world in righteousness, And He shall administer judgment for the peoples in uprightness.

Psalm 75:7 - But God is the Judge: He puts down one, And exalts another.

Psalm 96:13 - For He is coming, for He is coming to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with righteousness, And the peoples with His truth.

Psalm 110:6 - He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.

Revelation 20:13 - And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

John 9:31 - Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

Proverbs 10:2 - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.

Proverbs 11:19 - As righteousness leads to life, So he who pursues evil pursues it to his own death.

So, we see clearly that there are books where all the works we do in this earth are being written down and we all are going to be judged by what we do and nothing is hidden at the sight of the Lord! Let us walk in righteousness by the power of the Holy Spirit in this corrupt generation for our reward is sure! Let us fear the Lord and obey His commands and be blameless in Christ for He is coming back for an unspotted and unblemished bride.

May this message encourage you to walk in righteousness and blameless in the Lord's presence and if you are not walking like this yet, repent , confess your sins, turn your ways to the Lord, obey His commands, be baptized in waters and receive the promise of the Holy Spirit of God in order to be a child of the Most High God!

With much love in Christ,

The Word Of God

By: Tyrone D Palmer

Many professing Christians today have forgotten how much we need to study and be obedient to the Word of God. We must remember that we are commanded by Jesus to abide in His word, and live by His word.

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

The word of God is powerful, and it is truth. The word of God is also sharper than a double edged sword and it cuts through lies, deceptions, and our hearts.

John 17:17

“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.”

Matthew 7:24-27

"Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash."

Jesus tells us all plainly that we are wise and build on the rock, IF we hear His words and put them into practice, but if we just listen and do nothing we are foolish, building our house upon sand that will fall when trouble, persecution, and disaster strikes.

James 1:21-25

“Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”

How many professing Christians hear the word of God and then do what they hear? How many of us leave the church, watch a video, or participate in a bible study and say 'that was a good word', and then go on with our everyday lives forgetting everything we just heard?

John 8:31-32

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Jesus said if we abide in His word we will know the truth. We can’t just hear the word and then do nothing about it; we must abide in it and obey it.

Luke 9:26

For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.”

We cannot be afraid or ashamed to speak the words of Jesus to anyone; we must be prepared to give an answer for the hope we have in Christ.

John 17:8

For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.”

Will you receive the word of God? Will you be more than just a hearer of the word? Do you understand that the words of Jesus will judge us at the last day?

John 12:46-48

“I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness. And if anyone hears My words and does not believe, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.”

Jesus The Judge

Do you know that Jesus is more than our Lord, Savior, and King? He is also our Judge!

In this study we will learn that Jesus is coming back to do more than just save His people and bring peace to the earth. He is going to judge all man-kind for the works we have done while we were on this earth, whether good or bad. Some will receive eternal life and live with God for eternity and others will be eternally separated from God and tormented in the lake of fire forever.

2nd Corinthians 5:9-11

“Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.”

Many people read in the bible of how loving, meek, and humble Jesus is, but many don’t understand that when He comes back to earth, He is coming to judge everyone according to what he or she has done.

Question: Have you ever thought about standing before your Creator?

John 5:21-23, 26-30

“For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.”

For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation. I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.”

Question: What are the two reasons the Father gave all authority and judgment to Jesus?

Question: Why will some people be condemned by Jesus?

Acts 10:42

“And He commanded us (apostles) to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.”

Acts 17:30-31

“Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man (Jesus) whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

Question: Have you ever thought about Jesus being your judge?

Matthew 25:31-46

When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Question: Why is Jesus going to send the goats away into everlasting punishment?

Revelation 19:11-16

“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Revelation 20:11-15

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Jesus is coming soon to judge and make war; our immortal souls must be prepared to stand before Him on judgment day, if we are not then Jesus The Judge will send us away into eternal punishment. Don’t wait until it’s too late; make a choice for Jesus and eternal life today!

God Bless,

Can The Gospel Of Jesus Change My Life?

Are you tired of being tired? Have you ever wondered what your purpose in life is? Do you think that there’s nothing to live for?

In this bible study we will look at the real purpose for our life, and how the gospel of Christ can change the most hardened man or woman into a loving, disciplined, courageous, and Spirit-filled person who can be used by God to change the eternal destiny of many souls.

Matthew 4:18-22

And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets. He called them, and immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Him.

Question: How long did it take for Peter, Andrew, James and John to make the decision to follow Jesus?

Thought: We can understand from these scriptures that the first disciples Jesus called were ordinary working men, not wise scholars or rulers, but simple fishermen who left all they knew to follow Jesus. Sometimes we must make hard choices for God even when we don’t see the outcome of the choice, this is called faith. Abraham made a very hard choice too when he left his country and his family to go where God told him to go.

Mark 8:34-38

When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.

Question: What does God ask us to leave behind to follow His Son?

Thought: Jesus asks us to let go of our lives in this world, all the fleshly desires and worldly lifestyles. When we deny ourselves we don’t lose our lives, we gain true life in Christ. We can be like Bill Gates and have all the riches of this world and lose our soul, but if we take up our cross and follow Jesus we are promised eternal life with Him in heaven.

Mark 10:23-30

Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!” And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, “Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, “Who then can be saved?” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” Then Peter began to say to Him, “See, we have left all and followed You.” So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.

Question: Why is it hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God?

Are you willing to leave your old life behind for a new life with Jesus?

What does He promise to those who leave everything for Him and the gospel?

Thought: Many people live their whole lives in search of fame, fortune, and happiness, and when they find these things in this life, they end up losing their soul. But those who choose to accept the gospel message of Christ and the kingdom of God now; receive much more than worldly riches. They receive rest for their souls, the salvation of God, peace in their minds, purification in their hearts, and the promised Holy Spirit to empower them so they can live the true life on earth and in the age to come eternal life.

Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Question: Are you willing to come to Jesus and learn from Him? Are you ready to receive the true rest for your soul?

God Bless You,
