Jesus Took Away Our Sin

John 1:29

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

If we really understood this passage of scripture we would understand that those who are in Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit are no longer slaves to sin, and death has no more power over us.

The Spirit of God has been recently teaching me more of what Jesus truly did for believers and for the entire world. As John says in 1st John 2:2, “And He Himself is the propitiation (atonement) for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.”

The sinless sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross effectively un-did all that Satan did in the Garden of Eden through the deception of Adam and Eve. The scripture tells us in Romans 5:19 “For as by one man’s disobedience (Adam) many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience (Jesus) many will be made righteous.”

We also read in 1st John 3:8

“He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

God was manifested in the flesh and destroyed ALL the works of the devil, Satan has no more power or authority over the true saints of God! He can only do what the Sovereign God allows him to. What a wonderful salvation God has given us through His Son.

He was also manifested to TAKE AWAY our sins! 1st John 3:5

“And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.”

Take a look at Hebrews 2:14

“Inasmuch then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, He Himself likewise shared in the same, that through death He might destroy him who had the power of death, that is, the devil,”

When Jesus tasted death for us all He destroyed the devil! And He took his power of death! What a magnificent and awe inspiring truth! Jesus holds the keys of death and hades.

Revelation 1:18

“I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”

It is Jesus who has ALL power and authority, it is Jesus who holds the keys of Hades and Death, He is the Judge and the executer of the wrath of Almighty God!

Hebrews 2:9

“But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.”

There is no reason for us to neglect so great a salvation, there is no reason for us to continue to commit sin without the power to stop. There is no reason to remain in bondage to sin and the lusts of the flesh, in Christ we have been set free from sin and death, how could we live in it any longer?

1st John 1:7 “But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”

In Christ we have the victory over sin, the flesh, Satan, and the world, let us live and walk in the victory that was won for us on Calvary by the precious shed blood of Jesus.

Sanctification, What Is It?

Did you know that Jesus was sanctified by the Father before He was sent into the world?

John 10:36

"do you say of Him whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, ‘You are blaspheming,’ because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?"

The twelve disciples who were appointed to be apostles were also sanctified before they were sent into the world.

John 17:16-19

"They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth."

The Greek word for Sanctified is Hagiazo which means to make holy.

37. hagiazo hag-ee-ad'-zo from 40; to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate:--hallow, be holy, sanctify.

When we replace the word sanctified in the scriptures with the meaning, 'to make holy', we get a better understanding of what Jesus and His disciples experienced. They were made holy by God.

Example: "And for their sakes I make myself holy, that they also may be made holy by the truth."

According to the scriptures Sanctification is to be made holy by God, His truth, and His Spirit.

1st Corinthians 6:9-11

"Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God."

1st Thessalonians 5:23-24

"Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it."

If we believe the scriptures then we believe that the process of sanctification does have an end and that our spirit, soul, and body will be preserved blameless, without sin, until Jesus returns. The good news is that God Himself is faithful and He will do it!

Peace And Security?

Hilary Clinton Announces Middle East Peace Talks (Watch Video)

For those of us who are watching, stay alert! These peace talks are supposed to finish in one years time, and part of this peace treaty will include the division of the holy land, giving Palestine their own state. This falls right in line with Daniels 70th week prophecy and other recent prophecies that speak of God's judgment on this nation for bringing about the division of the land that God gave to His people.

1st Thessalonians 5:3

"For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape."

In The Desert

Peace and Grace be abound upon all the saints;

My dear brothers and sisters and all those who are reading this word. I would like to share some things that are happening with me and my husband during this time and encourage each one of you NOT to stop in the middle of the way for every trial and test have an end!

Let me first share some of the things that happened in the desert, wilderness or remote place through the Scriptures:
Matthew 3: 1-3 : In those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the Desert of Judea and saying, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near." This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: "A voice of one calling in the desert, Prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.'

Exodus 14:11, 15-17 -They said to Moses, "Was it because there were no graves in Egypt that you brought us to the desert to die? What have you done to us by bringing us out of Egypt?
15 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they will go in after them. And I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen. 18 The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.

Matthew 4:1-2 : Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.

Matthew 15:33-39 : His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place ( desert, wilderness) to feed such a crowd?" "How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish." He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. 36Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children. After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan.

Exodus 33:11 - The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.

Luke 5:16 - But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Acts 16: 13 -14: On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth from the city of Thyatira, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message.

Acts 7:38 - He was in the assembly in the desert, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; and he received living words to pass on to us.

Luke 1:80 - And the child grew and became strong in spirit; and he lived in the desert until he appeared publicly to Israel.

A desert, spiritually speaking is a place where you are tested, tempted, tried and refined, a place where the Lord brings the provision, even though you cannot plant in it and there is not water, a desert does not display much beauty, but the hands of God are constantly at work! A desert does not have much comfort, but there is miracle! A desert is a place of preparation for the servant of God to be able and enabled to do God's work according to His will and not the servant's! A desert is a place that the discomfort takes you closer to God and you talk to Him and He speaks to you! A desert is a place where we pray to God, we run to His presence and seek His face! A desert is even a place where the chosen ones can preach the gospel of Jesus Christ! And also a desert is a place where you are taken by God and you can also choose to complain like the Israelites did ( But I must advise you that if you choose to complain, your time in the desert can be longer and harder)!

In conclusion, the desert is NOT a place for you to die, but for you to get closer to God and put your trust in Him that everything that you are passing through is under His will and His control and all the things cooperate for the good of those who trust Him!

I would like to encourage you that is passing through the desert of loneliness, hardships, preparation, difficulties, suffering, ect... This desert is to bring you closer to God, so embrace what God is doing in you and for you and know that His will is good, perfect and pleasant and all this will turn to your good and after that, when you see the purpose clearly, you will know that all He did was to have you approved for a good work ahead and make you grow and be complete in Him!

Much love in Christ,

Spiritual Delivery

Peace and Grace Be Upon All the Saints of God;

I would like to share some of the experiences I recently had becoming a mother. I was meditating in pregnancy until delivery. It is indeed a pretty long journey, for some women it is very painful and for others less painful. Some women have their babies prematurely, some have them past due and some do not even have the time to meet their babies when the baby dies in the womb. But the bottom line here is that from conception until delivery there is a period of time necessary for the development of the baby and also for the preparation of the mother and father-to-be to receive the baby!

Think about conception in a spiritual level, as well as to conceive a child in the flesh has pains, for Christ to be conceived in us there are many pains we must pass through in order to be like Him:

Galatians 4:19- My children, I am suffering birth pains for you again until Christ is formed in you.

John 16:21 -A woman has pain when her time to give birth comes. But after the child is born, she doesn’t remember the pain anymore because she’s happy that a child has been brought into the world. ( Jesus was trying to tell His disciples that He would die and all of them would suffer a lot with His death , but after they would be glad because He would resurrect from the dead and be with them all the time through the Holy Spirit).

So, all I am trying to express here is that with NO suffering, there is no LIFE in Christ. Everybody wants to go about and say that when you want to follow Christ everything is going to be absolutely perfect in your life and you will have all your problems solved. NOT TRUE! Following Christ is followed by suffering as well as HE suffered if we want to be His disciples.

1 Peter 2:21 - God called you to endure suffering because Christ suffered for you. He left you an example so that you could follow in his footsteps.

Philippians 1:29-30 - For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.

1 Peter 4:13-14 -Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

As you can see by the Scriptures there is pain in order to deliver a child and spiritually, there are birth pains too in order to have Christ formed in you. It is not an experience that will come only with joy and laughter, but it will also bring much pain inward and outward if you really want to live the life Christ expects from you as His witness in this earth.

I pray that this short message can edify you and build you up in the faith of Jesus Christ,

Love in Christ,

Cynthia R. Palmer

Dream 8-13-10 Adding To The Scriptures?

My wife and I were talking about one of the scriptures that are commonly used to validate the 'Original Sin' doctrine (Romans 5:12) and I said to her, "This scripture does not say that all are born in sin, nor does it say that all have inherited the sin of Adam and Eve." When we add  carnal reasoning to scripture we can make them say what we want them to, and then believe the doctrine that we create using scripture. Instead what we should do is leave the scriptures as they are, don't add anything to them, or take anything away from them, and ask God to open the eyes of our understanding so that we might receive the revelation of the scripture from the Holy Spirit, then the interpretation is God's and not ours.

In my dream I was in a classroom and the room was full of students. We were about to take a finals test and I had missed some days, so instead of taking the final with everybody else the teacher asked me to take some make up tests and when I took those I could move on to the final. The rest of the class started on the final and I began the make up tests, the first question was an equation that required the use of a ruler, after I finished this first question the teacher decided to check my work. He took the ruler and checked it against my answer and said, 'this answer is wrong because you didn't add yourself into the equation', my reply was, 'it doesn't say that in the question!', he then replied, 'well you're sapposed to even if it doesn't say that on the paper', then I said, 'ok but if I do that I'm gonna go somewhere else and they will mark it wrong and I'm gonna say that Scott (teachers name in dream) told me to do it.' After this exchange he just walked away and then I woke up.

My interpretation of this dream (which may not be correct!). God was telling me not to add anything of myself into the scriptures and pay attention when man adds something to His word. I also undertsood that I shouldn't do something or agree with someone who is in error just because he or she is the teacher or leader, but seek God's divine interpretation and do what He says.

Luke 24:44-45

"Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” ***And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures***"

Jesus had to open the minds of His disciples so that they could understand the scriptures, and if they had to have this divine opening of their understanding, then so must we!

Tyrone

Original Sin?

By: Tyrone Palmer

Brothers and Sisters, today I am in awe of God and how He reveals truth through His Holy Spirit who teaches us all things. If we are willing to humble ourselves and become like little children we will be able to receive His precious gifts.

This revelation came to me as I was posting on Johnthebaptisttv.com on a thread called "The doctrine of sinless perfection" I won't go into great detail here but a synopsis of my revelation was this: We are NOT born in sin, and we did not inherit the 'original sin' of Adam and Eve. I would encourage every professing Christian to study this out for themselves and seek the face of God about it, you will be amazed at what you find.

Love In Christ,
Tyrone
