A TRINDADE

11 de Novembro de 2010

This message can also be found in our blog on November 11th, 2010- The Trinity

Joao 1:1,14

Deus NAO e tres pessoas, Deus e ESPIRITO! E Deus e UM!

Em toda Sinceridade e Verdade,

The Righteous And The Wicked

Malachi 3:16-18

"Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, And the Lord listened and heard them; So a book of remembrance was written before Him, For those who fear the Lord And who meditate on His name. “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts, “On the day that I make them My jewels. And I will spare them As a man spares his own son who serves him.” Then you shall again discern Between the righteous and the wicked, Between one who serves God And one who does not serve Him."

Matthew 25:31-46

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’

“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Are You Calling God A Liar?

1st John 5:9-13

"If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."

John doesn't hold any punches for unbelievers with these scriptures, and this truth really convicts my heart and paints a clear picture of those who have life and those who do not.

I have heard people say, 'I don't believe in God', 'I don't believe what the bible says, it was written by man', 'I don't believe Jesus died on a cross for my sins, the bible is just a book of made up stories and fairy tales', 'Christians are brainwashed and need to wake up to reality', etc........

How many millions of people are there, that have already lost their immortal soul and opened up their eyes in torments because they did not believe the testimony of the One True and Living God?

How many millions of people are there, who wish they could leave the torments of Hell and relive their lives? But even if one came back from the dead and told their testimony would you believe them?

John 3:18-21,36

He who believes in Him is not condemned (judged); but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

"He who believes (trust in, put faith in, commit to) in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

Are You Resisting The Spirit?

Acts 7:51-53

You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.”

Over the last six months or so I have witnessed many people resisting the Spirit of God as Christ is being manifested in this earthen vessel.  The scriptures testify about Jesus and the disciples being persecuted by unbelievers, but I had no idea what it would be like in the natural, in my mind I thought it would be physical persecution for the gospel, and it has been that, but I have witnessed and felt the most opposition and resistance to the Spirit, grace, and word of God in the spiritual. It is one of the most saddening things in this world to me as those who are lost have no clue of the judgement that awaits them unless they repent and believe in Jesus Christ.

In the above scriptures Stephen gives an indepth and detailed testimony about Abraham, the Patriarchs, and Moses while filled with the Spirit and wisdom of God. You would think that the high priest, the elders and those in attendance would have repented in sack cloth and ashes after the word that Stephen spoke, but no! Instead of repentance and weeping we see anger, gnashing of teeth and stoning. How could this be? I have been wondering how could anyone resist the Spirit? The Lord has been teaching me through everyday experiences how this is possible when those who hear the voice of the Spirit and feel the grace of God harden their hearts and set their will on denial, resistance, and opposition of the one who is sent by God to proclaim the good news.

I also wondered how could the Pharisees and Jews resist Jesus Christ who is God manifested in the flesh and while He walked this earth the fullness of the Godhead dwelt inside of Him! But yet He was rejected and crucified by His own creation, by the same people He came to save!

John 8:42-47

"Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.”

How would you respond if Jesus came and told you that you were not of God?

Many professing Christians today think they are born again because they repeated a 'sinners' prayer or mentally agreed with the scriptures and say they believe in Jesus but yet they don't obey His commands and when they are told the truth about their conversion they say things like, 'who are you to tell me I'm not saved!', or 'who are you to tell me I don't have the Holy Spirit in me!'

John 8:48-53

"Then the Jews answered and said to Him, “Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon?” Jesus answered, “I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” Then the Jews said to Him, “Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, ‘If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.’ Are You greater than our father Abraham, who is dead? And the prophets are dead. Who do You make Yourself out to be?”

Jesus is being manifested in His bride in these last days, are you ready to hear the true word of the Lord spoken by true apostles and prophets filled with the Holy Spirit and wisdom of God?

How will you respond when the Holy Spirit convicts you of sin, righteousness, and judgment?

Paul was also strong in the Lord and filled with the Spirit but He was resisted by many people when he preached.

Acts 19:8-9

"And he went into the synagogue and spoke boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading concerning the things of the kingdom of God. But when some were hardened and did not believe, but spoke evil of the Way before the multitude, he departed from them and withdrew the disciples, reasoning daily in the school of Tyrannus."

It's so sad to see people willfully resisting and fighting against the one true God who loved them so much that He gave His only Son Jesus as an atoning sacrifice on the cross to pay the penalty for their sins and mine.

Hebrews 3:7-15

"Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In the day of trial in the wilderness, Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. Therefore I was angry with that generation, And said, ‘They always go astray in their heart, And they have not known My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.’” Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, while it is said: “Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”

Are you resisting the Spirit and hardening your heart? Let us all examine ourselves to see if we are really in the faith.

Tyrone

ACREDITAR

Olhe so:

Joao 6:23-26

28 Respondeu-lhe Tomé: Senhor meu, e Deus meu! 29 Disse-lhe Jesus: Porque me viste, creste?

Joao 1:12

12 Mas, a todos quantos o receberam, aos que crêem no seu nome, deu-lhes o poder de se tornarem filhos de Deus;

Em amor,

Cynthia R. Palmer

The Parables Of Jesus And The Kingdom Part 2

Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

"Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. So the servants of the owner came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us then to go and gather them up?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”

"Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.” He answered and said to them: “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one. The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!"

In this parable Jesus tells us that He sows the good seed throughout the whole WORLD (not just inside what man calls 'church') and the devil sows tares (darnel) which look just like wheat until they are fully grown.

These scriptures also help us to understand that those who are born of God will remain on this earth (unless they die) with the sons of the wicked one until the end of the age.

The Parables Of Jesus And The Kingdom Part 1

Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

"On the same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the sea. And great multitudes were gathered together to Him, so that He got into a boat and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore. Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds came and devoured them. Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

“Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

Question: Where did you receive the seed?
