John 1:4-5
In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

What does prophecy look like being fulfilled in reality? Jesus fulfilled ALL the prophecies about Him that were prophesied in scripture.
Acts 3:18Daniel the prophet and interpreter of dreams, was given prophecies about the end times like John the apostle of Jesus was given the visions and words of the book of Revelation.
Daniel prophesied these words written in Daniel 11:20-24
“There shall arise in his place one who imposes taxes on the glorious kingdom; but within a few days he shall be destroyed, but not in anger or in battle. And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue. With the force of a flood they shall be swept away from before him and be broken, and also the prince of the covenant. And after the league is made with him he shall act deceitfully, for he shall come up and become strong with a small number of people. He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.""Barack H. Obama, the 44th President of the United States, had been in power for less than eight months when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2009. Among the reasons it gave, the Nobel Committee lauded Obama for his “extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”. Emphasis was also given to his support - in word and deed - for the vision of a world free from nuclear weapons."

Keep watch people! The Lord is standing at the door! And I certainly believe that many more prophecies of scripture will be fulfilled in the coming years and it will become more and more obvious of the times we are living in. Time to get in the ark before the door closes on you!

Nobody likes change do they? Especially the elderly!
Why is that? I believe because elderly people are so set in their ways, habits, lifestyle, ideology, etc.... that when something new comes they immediately reject it! 'That's not how we do things here', they say, or how about this one, 'in our day we would never do that!', it goes on and on.
When Jesus started His earthly ministry two thousand years ago, He changed everything! Especially for those who believed and followed Him. He totally went against the grain of all the religious establishments and traditions of men. But isn't that what God is supposed to do? Or should God bow to the will of man? His own creation? Of course not!
I personally like change, especially changes within myself! Because every time the Spirit of the Lord exposes some evil within me, I get set free from it! And that changes me! I become more and more like Christ everyday!
One of the main reasons the Pharisees hated Jesus was because He told them the truth about themselves, about their deeds, their hard hearts, and their traditions that nullified the commandments of God.
When the truth is brought to our attention by scripture or someone used by God to share that truth, the focus should be on repenting if we're in error, and crying out to God for forgiveness so we can be forgiven and healed, which results in change!
Matthew 10:34-39
“Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a person's enemies will be those of his own household. Whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever does not take his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it."Revelation 13:16-17
"He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."
Paul said we should not THINK more highly of ourselves than we should! Great advice!
Romans 12:3
"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."
It's a very slippery slope downward when you start thinking you're all that and a bag of chips! LOL1st Corinthians 10:12
"Therefore, let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall."
It is so important to stay humble no matter what situation we may find ourselves in! Because it's so easy to become prideful and arrogant, especially in positions of authority or when we have great wealth.
Remember God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble!
